Today was slow. You usually get almost ten customers by 10:30 AM, but you've only seen a few. You sigh softly as you watch the door. Why weren't there any customers?

That's when you remembered. The Beatles were in town. You groan at the memory of your mother earlier this week.

"Now now, (Y/N), they aren't going anywhere. We just can't afford it."

You tap your fingers on the counter you're standing behind. You're thinking of closing up early, but it's only 12:56 PM. You're usually open from 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Your shift ends in two more hours.

You were brought back to earth by the door of the coffee shop squeaking. You're eyes widened. It was John Lennon!

He walked up to the counter you were standing behind. "Hello, love. May I get a vanilla latte?" You blushed slightly, nodding. You quickly fixed him his vanilla latte and set it on the counter.

"T-That'll be $3.20," you stammered. His light brown eyes stared into your (E/C) ones. His seamed to twinkle. He dug out his wallet and handed you the money. "Thanks, love."

You smiled, and he smiled back. "Well, I better get goin'. The boys are waitin' outside," he sighed. He snatched a napkin from the dispenser and dug a pen from his pocket. He wrote something down on the napkin and slid it to you. He walked out the door, a pep in his step.

You looked at the napkin and you almost gasped. He had written his number on the napkin along with, "Call me, darling"! You quickly shoved the napkin into your pocket. Today was better than you thought it would be.
