Charolettes P.O.V
I continued to caress him as he fell asleep, but his eyes kept drooping opening, each time more tired than the next. It's as if he was afraid that when his eyes did close, I would disappear. I almost wanted to say that I wouldn't be going anywhere, but then the nurses came in. They say him up rapidly and begun to inject him with what I'm guessing is pain killer. I knew what they were doing was going to help my poor Oliver, but the exhausted look of horror on his face made me scream. He was the only one that could hear me, and I know that the pain must have been unbearable, but for me he smiled. I rushed out the open door, and he screamed in pain. I covered my ears and sank to the floor, hoping that the sound would disappear, but it only grew louder. It seemed as if I were scrunched there for an eternity but it finally went away. I saw him laying there, helpless. Tears were streaming down his face, ice was placed on his recovering wounds and blood trickled from the areas where he had been punctured. I began to draw myself towards him, closer and closer until we were almost one. He began to cry and curse into my chest, as I weeped above him. He pushed me, gently away from him, and tried to kiss me.
Charlotte: N-No, you can't.
Oli: Why? I love you, and I want too. I've waited for such a long time.
Charlotte: Because if you kiss me I'll be free. I'll be in heaven, and I'm not ready to leave you.
Oli: What? Wait so if I kiss you then you'll be gone forever? We've only just been reunited.
Charlotte: Thats why I'm not leaving yet. We still have a job to do, and I have to keep you safe.
There was a knock at the door, and in rushed Callum, Perry, Joel, Lizzie and Yammy. I backed away for him to be greeted by his friends, his faced still shocked. He put on a smile, fake, but still, it's good they get to see him happy. They must have missed it after all these years. I know I have.
