Charolet's P.O.V.
I miss him a lot. I did what was right, but seeing his state makes me feel so guilty. Lexie follows me around. We still have unfinished business technically, so we are still somewhat ghosts. She will never be an angel because of what she has done, but I may be one.
"Oh quit crying over him! Seriously, it's pointless."
Lexie taunts me, and now I know what Oli had to go through every single day. That is probably what's most painful to me, knowing. Before I only knew that he became possesed, but now I know to what extent.
"Stop crying over Callum then."
"I am not crying over Callum! I only even care about him because of his violence towards young children."
"Wow Lexie. Well I have to spend eterniy with a violence obssesed teenager?'
"I guess you do."
It had only been a few months and she was already hurting me. She made up lies about Oli, and even thoughI can see him and even though I new they weren't true I still believed her. She's manipulative and controlling. It hurts knowing that Oli had to deal with this for so long.
"Lexie, why is Oli still acting so... hostile? You aren't controlling him, are you?"
"Me? He's useless now. Plus, I've never actually possesed him."
"You haven't??'
I was shocked that she had not been the one putting him into his mental state his entire life. She was not the one who made him suffer.
"I know a guy. He volunteered. Had the hots for me I guess."
"Do you think that this guy may still be posessing Oli??"
My heart started to race. Oli wasn't safe anymore.
"You're right! I bet George is the reason that Oli is acting up again! I love that guy!"
It too everything in me not to punch her. Not to strangle her. Not to, well, kill her. I walked away with tears streaming down my face. I had to save him, but I didn't know how.
"You're crying again, aren't you?"
Her laugh stings. I have grown to hate it.
