[2 MONTHS LATER]
[LEO]
"Are there anymore boxes?"
I shook my fringe out of my face. "Nope."
"Are we done for now, then?"
I set the last box down on the steps and smiled. "Yup."
"Good."
Ravi grabbed the front of my sweater roughly and pulled me into a deep, electrifying kiss.
I very nearly stumbled backwards down the stairs, but Ravi caught me, wrapping his arm around my waist and pressing me to him.
My hands clutched at the front of his white shirt and I tilted my head, allowing Ravi to deepen the kiss with his tongue.
Even after two months of this, it felt like I could never get used to it.
After being apart with him for so long, I'd started living each day like it was my last with him, and that had made me more appreciative towards his presence. The tiniest things brought me satisfaction, and just the light brush of his fingers on my cheek would change my whole day.
I doubt that I would ever get tired of the way his lips felt on mine, the wild, musky taste of him on my tongue, the way he held me so tight I couldn't breathe.
I constantly thanked the Heavens and whatever God was out there for giving me another chance at life with Ravi - I knew that I was blessed.
Ravi took my bottom lip between his teeth and lightly grazed the tender flesh before letting me go.
"Tease," I said, my heart hammering against my ribcage, my breathing hard and laboured.
Ravi smirked, long and slow, before pressing his lips to my jaw.
"Don't -"
His lips skimmed my jawline, and I trembled.
"- tease -"
He pressed his tongue against my neck, and I pulled him closer.
" -me."
Ravi bit my neck gently, his teeth grazing the soft spot with a sort of gentle urgency. After a while, he pressed his lips to the sore spot and pulled away.
From the way my neck was dully aching, I could tell that there was going to be a bruise the next day.
I rubbed the spot a little, smiling wryly.
"That's hardly fair, and you know it."
Ravi bent down and lifted the box I'd been carrying effortlessly into his arms. He dropped me a slow, seductive wink.
"You'll just have to repay me in another way, darling," he hummed, turning around and heading up the stairs.
The apartment was much bigger than my older one - mainly because I wasn't living alone now.
I remembered the first time we'd come to review the apartment, how excited and hopeful we'd been.
Ravi had reacted exactly the same way then like he did a few minutes earlier - the moment we'd seen the apartment, the both of us had fallen in love with it. We'd decided to move in, right then and there.
On the way down to our car in the elevator, Ravi had pulled me roughly towards him and pinned me against the wall.
He hadn't left any room for any other option - his lips had attacked mine with such a sudden, vicious passion that I'd been too stunned to react.
