school bag on shoulder,
hand on the door,
before she stops me.
"You can't expect me to let you leave without breakfast Brooklyn!"
I sighed,
dropped my bag to the floor,
before walking to the kitchen.
"At least have a strawberry or two, I know you love them."
I coughed,
she must've meant used to,
she clearly didn't pay attention anymore.
I grabbed the punnet of strawberries,
looking for the best looking one in the pack.
i grabbed the largest in the punnet,
measured it quickly and weighed it,
before eating it.
27 grams,
8" in diameter,
9 calories.
nothing i couldn't get rid of before school.
