This is what the main character is wearing. Imagine her hair being a little longer. Also, I'm going to put a picture of what I think the my OC looks like. I don't usually do this because I want you guys to imagine the OC looking whatever way you want, but I really liked this picture, so....yeah.

A-a-achoo!

"Bless you!" I said to the person behind me. They nodded their head in thanks as I turned back around in my seat, letting out a sigh.

'Why does the airplane atmosphere always mess with people's sinuses?' I thought to myself, feeling a slight tickle in my nose.

It didn't matter though, because it was all very worth it to get back home. I'd been gone for so long, and I just couldn't wait to see everyone again! It was then that the flight pilot could be heard making an announcement over the intercom. He told all passengers to return to their seats and buckle up because we would be landing soon. I was bubbling with excitement!

'Just a little bit longer before I can see everyone!'

A large smile was plastered on my face as I saw the runway come into view. The plane landed about fifteen minutes later, and let me tell you. I basically ran everyone over trying to get off of the plane.

There were a few complaints here and there, but most people were still too tired to worry about me.

I hurried off the plane after grabbing my carry-on items, and headed straight for baggage claim, where I impatiently tapped my foot on the floor as I waited for my luggage to come around. Every few seconds I would check my wrist watch, but time only seemed to pass by more slowly. I felt as though I had waited a whole hour-when in actuality I only waited about two minutes-before the conveyor belt finally brought my luggage around.

I wasted no time!

I quickly grabbed my luggage and made my way towards the airport entrance to find my family. Unfortunately, the airport was very packed! The only way I could think to describe it would be to compare it to the lunch rushes in New York.

There was free space about three yards or so ahead of me, but with my luck, I ended up behind a blockade of extremely slow moving people.

'Of course I would!'

I couldn't think of a single word to describe the irritation I was beginning to feel. After what felt like hours of walking, I finally made it around the snail-like people. However, I was met with a new obstacle. I tried to look over everyone's heads, but some people were unbelievably tall. If I couldn't see much now, I could only imagine how little I'd see if I weren't wearing my heels. A minute or so passed by before I saw them.

'There they are! They all look so different.'

My mother, older brother, and a small child no more than seven years of age were standing near the entrance waving at me, waiting for me to come over. I had to blink away a few tears from the emotional sight ahead of me. I composed myself and smiled at them before walking over.

I was filled with so much excitement and happiness when I saw them that I hadn't realized how far of a walk it was to get to they were. It was a pretty far distance, and I could just tell that my poor feet were going to hurt later.

'Something told me not to wear these stupid heels!' I thought to myself. But I didn't let the smile on my face falter a single bit. I just kept pushing forward at a steady pace. I kept moving until I passed by two people that seemed oddly familiar to me. I stopped dead in my tracks and tried to slow breathing.

'Could it actually be? Or am I just hallucinating?'

I slowly turned around to face the other two, my smile slowly but surely leaving my face. I saw that they were also doing the same thing. We all stood there staring at each other with slightly wide, confused eyes.

'This-this can't be! I haven't seen them for so long!'

Time seemed to stand still for us, like it knew we needed as much of it as possible to process what was happening. I was having mixed emotions about this encounter; I didn't know what to feel or how to feel it.

You're probably very confused. That's understandable; I would be too. You'll have to look back at what the past held to understand what the present is holding, all while keeping what the future holds in mind.

That probably just confused you even more.

For you to truly understand, you'll have to reach into my past and experience the things I experienced.

You have to reach very, very far. All the way back 12 years ago, to 2002.

When the opening of the 2002 Korea Japan FIFA World-Cup was declared.
