To say I was tired would have been an understatement. I was exhausted!
The second I found the teacher's room, I was immediately pushed into their main meeting office to take several tests that would "help the teachers decide whether or not I would need assistance during our solo study period." To put it plainly: they were testing to see if I was actually as smart as the tests I took at my previous school had led the official board to believe. They wanted to make sure I had gotten into Daehan High School fairly without cheating, and that I wouldn't become a problem for them and the scores they were given as teachers, based off of their students' exam scores.
I had spent the whole morning and well past my lunch break (and well into the evening) taking those long tests, and I had finally finished them. Words couldn't describe how happy I felt being able to put that stupid number 2 pencil down. But they also couldn't describe the heavy wave of fatigue that had washed over me. Having not eaten much for breakfast and absolutely nothing for lunch really did a number on my body. I could already feel the knots in my joints working themselves up.
I sighed loudly as I gathered the packets into my hands neatly, taking a look at the clock that was settled on the far wall.
I was hoping I hadn't missed lunch by too long so I could catch the lunch staff before they could put the food away, but it seems I missed them by hours anyway. 'I guess I'll have to wait until dinner. They should be serving it soon, too.' I huffed to myself and gathered the last of the papers, that, in total, would be the size of all of my family's photo albums put together.
I opened the door to the room and poked my head outside of it to see if I could catch the attention of one of the teachers as they walked by. It didn't work out very well, and I not only ended up dropping a few (a lot) papers on the floor, but I also managed to drop my whole body as well. I don't even know where the water on the floor came from or how it appeared out of nowhere. All I knew was that I was embarrassed and hoped that no one saw how I made a complete fool out of myself.
"Seonsaeng-nim! Ma'am! Mrs...," I squinted my eyes at the name on her desk. "Kang! Mrs. Kang! Seonsaeng-nim Kang!" I whisper-yelled. "Oh?" she raised her head to look up from the papers on her desk. "What do you need?" she asked as she got up a walked in my direction. "I finished all of my tests, Seonsaeng-nim."
Mrs. Kang looked down at the large stack of papers in my hands before speaking. "Ah~It's seems you have. You finished sooner than I thought you would." She grabbed the papers from me and looked down at the top page. "And from what I can see so far, you're pretty smart, too." she smiled at me. "I'll make sure to grade these carefully and with a hard-trained eye."
Mrs. Kang then dropped the pile onto her desk and looked at her small wrist watch. "Hmm. It's pretty late now. Dinner will be served soon and school will be let out withing the next three-to-four hours. What to do, what to do?" she tapped her fingers on the desk. "I suppose, with the current classes coming to an end and dinner coming afterwards, I can show you around the school so you won't get lost tomorrow." she decided. "Come on, follow me."

Fifteen minutes later, Mrs. Kang had shown me the few places I would be going through or by in order to navigate the school quickly and smoothly. She showed me where the lunchroom, the snack area, the bathrooms, the nurse's office, and the general area of the classrooms were, as well as the field that gym would be held on.
Now all that was left to find was the classroom I would spend most-if not all-of my time in. We walked down the hallway with many classroom doors and saw many students in each room. As we walked by each room window, I saw many students working diligently in their workbooks.
