Tony peered out the window out looking the New York buildings. He sighed when he realized what he was thinking about -no- /who/ he was thinking about. Those fimilar sea blue, sparkiling eyes came into his thought. The golden blonde hair that matched the eyes appeared as well. A well-built, super strong, and tanned body topped the vision off. Tony didn't realize who the man he'd been daydreaming for weeks was until that very moment, that very sigh.

Steve.

Now it seemed odd for the inventor to daydream about the first Avenger, considering that the both were constantly at each others throats. And it surprised Tony as well when he realized who the man walking through his mind was... but then again... it also didn't.

Steve was the one who made sure Tony didn't kill himself -well- work himself to death. The male made sure Tony had good food (not pizza and donuts), made sure Tony was well rested and clean. And he surely didn't take no as an answer, Tony had said no to everything Steve wanted Tony to do, but the blonde somehow always had gotten Tony to eat, drink, sleep, and shower.

And now Tony knew why.

Tony had fallen victim of the first Avenger. His coffee brown eyes had a mind of their own and engraved Steve into his brain. This had to stop. The male wasn't supposed to act like this. Oh, this definatly had to stop. He had to tell Steve. Tony didn't know of another way for the male to leave his mind. Steve had to stop.

Tony inhaled deeply, carding his caloused fingers through his chocolate brown hair. He didn't have a set plan, his only plan was to just go and wing it. Why not? He didn't know what Steve would be doing whenhe'd find him, or what mood he would be in, or how he would react to such a poposterous idea. What Tony did know, though, was he just had to tell Steve so they could possibly solve it. So the playboy slowly rose from his perch by the window to go on a search for his brainwasher.

Steve wasn't in his room. He wasn't in his workout room, or the living room, the kitchen, the meeting hall, the battle training room, or the lab. He wasn't in Tony's workshop either. Steve wasn't there. Tony sighed once again and decided to retire to his room for the night. He had just treaked the whole Avenger tower in search of the non-present male.

Once Tony pushed open his bedroom door, he had to swallow hard to stop from gasping in surprise. There he was. Steve. Just sitting there reading his book as he sat on the very edge of Tony's bed. Tony watched him, pondering if the golden man had even noticed his new presents.

Steve's book snapping shut cut off Tony's thoughts and questions like a knife through bread. Steve didn't move though after that. He just sat there as still as a statue as Tony gazed at him in wonder. Then Tony witnessed a small smirk spread onto Steve's dim face. Wait. Steve was being illuminated by the light from the hallway that was streaming in ever since Tony had opened the door. No lights were on in the bedroom. But hadn't Steve been reading?

"I like to read by moonlight," Steve's voice jerked Tony from his wondering. "Well, here in New York, it's, more like reading from the city lights. I know that not enough light while reading isn't the best for my eyes, but I just find it relaxing."
