Festivities draw on

Now, decorations are put up around the town. Sparkling lights garnished every house, bright decor was erected in people's yards, and the occasional snowplow rumbling by has grown to be a common sight as snow builds up in the streets. Small choirs are busking on the side of the road, bells ring whenever a door is opened, the sights and sounds of a grand holiday are returning.

As I said I would, I invited Glaceon on a walk. As we padded lightly through the snow, easy conversation was cultivated. I wasn't the only one excited for the holidays, apparently. It dawned on to me I would have to get a gift for Glaceon as well. Once there wasn't any more to talk about, we just walked on in silence, loving the sounds, sights and smells of the season. There was no need for words with an environment like the one we had. It was beautiful, and no words in any language could have described how it felt to be there in the merry marketplace with the special someone of my life.

I plan on going shopping for gifts soon, maybe something in the next week. I'm not sure about what I'll get for Glaceon... I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, I guess.

We've actually been revered as heroes since we've gotten back from out grand adventure. Tying for the world record is quite the accomplishment that so many trainers have fallen short of. It's more of a team effort... I don't like to take all the credit, but rather give it to all the others on the team. It works out that way.

I suppose I'll get back to you on the morrow.
