.itchen countertop and went right infront of the door to open it.

"Hey there, babe," Mitch said as I opened the door. I welcomed him with a hug and a kiss.

"What brings you here, early morning?" I asked.

"Well, since this is your last full day, I'm gonna spend it well with you," he replied, "with stuff couples don't usually do," he added.

"Like what?"

"Umm, I haven't planned on anything yet. Go cruising maybe?"

"Fine. I'm just gonna get ready," I replied... Well, and kissed him.

I went up the stairs to our room and found out that Nela was brushing her teeth and getting ready too.

"You're going somewhere, where are you going?" I asked. I saw ger clothes on the bed, I feel like it's an important formal event.

"I'm going to a job interview. It's a job interview here in Montreal, but the actual office is in Vancouver," she replied.

"Good luck to you then"

"Oh, and if you find out that I'm not here yet, I'm just going to meet up with someone"

"Your boyfriend?"

"No. Since when did you think that I have a boyfriend? I'm not in a hurry just like you."

"Are you telling me I'm a slut?"

"Not really..."

"Let me get ready for our date then!"

Nela stopped from combing her hair. She stared deep into my soul while walking towards me.

"The fuck did you say," she said in a whisper.

"I said I have a date... With Mitch," I replied. She seemed suspicious before, but she had an 'oh. okay' face.

After I wore everything I prepared, I went downstairs to leave with Mitch, and of course with my penny, Pastel.

"So, why are you leaving Montreal as soon as you got here?" Mitch asked while licking his newly grabbed ice cream.

"Well, for starters, I didn't even know that we're going to Vancouver. Second of all, I didn't know why we stayed here in Montreal at first. My mom is a very unusual woman," I replied in a one whole sentence.

"Well your mom is weird," He said. I just nodded and looked away.

"I'll be seeing you again then," he said before he left.

"Hey, thanks for today too. I've never had much more fun ever in my life. Thanks," I replied back, "I guess I'll see you again after I graduate."

"You know I'll always love you," he replied. And kissed him. Longer than before, since we won't see each other anymore.

I closed the door and sat down on the couch. A couple of minutes later, Nela entered the door... Smiling.

"Which one do you wanna hear first? The good news or the bad news?" She asked. I went into deep thinking at first... "Bad news."

"Well, bad news is, I didn't get the job," she said, but still smiling.

"Aww. But what's the good news?"

"I have a boyfriend n-"

"WAIT. I thought you weren't in a hurry..."

"I know what I said, but I've been waiting for this moment my whole life!"

"Is he a past friend or classmate?"

"Both. Remember that guy from 7th Grade?"

"That guy you used to call 'six'?" She nodded.

I squirmed with happiness. Then I thought of something.

"But we're moving to Vancouver!" I said

"Girl, it's not like you and Mitch. He can go wherever he wants now, since he's with me, and also, I have someone to be with when you're gone to uni"

"Alright. He can go with us in our trip going there," I told her. It's her love life. She's been waiting the question from that guy since the day she left.

"I love you with all my heart..." She said back.

A/N: I might start to make shorter chapters, but I will make them with more romance between Joy and Mitch.
