Chapter Fourteen - How to Impress

I rolled over to the other side to see that Mitch wasn't there. Strange, I'd usually wake up before anyone else. When I did a sitting position, I saw that Raf and Nela were also gone.

Where are they? I thought.

I took my phone to see what time it was; it was 11:41AM. Well, that was unexpected.

The wedding was coming up and they're probably too busy with things... But where is Mitch? Did they ask him to help them? Maybe... Only one way to find out

I went to the wedding venue and saw two familiar faces.

"Hey! Where have you been? We were just finishing up with the flowers around the arch," Nela said. She daintily arranged each flower at the white arch while more flowers came in in boxes.

"Uhh, where's Mitch?" I asked.

"Well, we haven't seen him yet, we woke up this morning and he wasn't beside you," Nela replied. Raf stood up and bent backward, maybe after a few hours of arranging the flowers.

"Uhh, do some rounds, you'll probably find him on the way," Nela suggested. And so I did.

I gave up. Mitch wasn't anywhere in this resort. He went out, somewhere.

I went back to the villa and saw that Mitch was in there.

"Where the fuck did you go?! I was worried for about six hours!" I said screaming at his face.

He stood up and approached me. "I'm sorry, babe, I was doing something outside the resort," he said, "From now on, when I go out, you'll come with me too."

"You better do, you bastard," I said while hugging him tight.

I went out of the villa for a bit, when I saw Lia and Nela talking. I approached them to join their talk for a while.

"Hey Joy! Found Mitch?" Lia asked. She knew...

"Yeah, he's just in the villa tho," I replied.

"You should tell him to go and hang out with the other guys," Nela suggested.

Made me wonder tho, why wasn't he hanging out with the dudes today? Raf didn't know where he was...

"Anyway, I'll have to ask you guys something," I said.

"Yeah sure, what can we do?" Lia said politely whilst I was forced to sit down on the hammock.

"Uhh, you see, I almost lost Mitch today and, uhh, I kinda think he doesn't want me around anymore," I said. I wad a bit nerous telling them this...

"Girl. You have got to refrain your man from going out of his cage," Nela told me.

"Yeah, he's a free bird, you know. He can capture any bird and before you know it, new woman," Lia said, with Nela agreeing.

"Well, that's why I'm here. Can I ask you for some advice on making my man behave?" I asked.

"Well first of all, bring him what he likes or wants," Nela initiated.

"You mean like food, gaming stuff, like that?" I asked.

"Maybe, yeah, sure. As long as he's in the mood for it," Lia replied.

The girl talk went on until I was contented and that I know what I'm gonna do.

A/N: Sorry if the update took reeeeaaaaally long. I had to finish school stuff and now that it's summer, I can finally finish the fic! Actually, bad news is that the next chapter's gonna be the last :"( And also, sorry if it's short.
