You sigh a little, looking at the last question of your math homework. You scratch your head in confusion until you hear a faint knock. You stand up and open the door, seeing your whole family fully dressed. Your mom, Victoria, has a camera and your dad Misha had Maison on his shoulders. You smile, grateful for a full day's distraction. You always have Sunday to finish your homework.

"So, what does Chef West wanna cook today?" you ask, expecting something silly but simple he can make in a few hours.

"A cook-off!" he says excitedly, pulling you out of your room and out to the hall. "Mommy is judging you and I versus Daddy and Maison!'

You look up at your parents for looks of approval. They just shrug and smile. You grab some shoes and the group of you head to the supermarket.

When you first get there you pull West to the side with your mother, not knowing the plan.

"Simply make something with all of the food groups. I'll be running around between the two of you." She pushes a cart toward you and you help West get in.

You start in the produce, not driving too close or else West would grab something random to eat. He yells when you pass some odd red vegetable and you head back, grabbing two and throwing them in. You give West the stink eye and run to the meats.

By the time you are there, you see your parents and little sister running around the poultry. You signal for West to quickly grab something and scream as you pass. "TEAM Y/F/N & W FOR THE WIN!"

Everyone in the area whips around and your mother starts chasing you, zooming in on West giggling. You take a tight turn into the bread and breakfast isle and take West out, letting him run loose. "TWO THINGS WESTY OKAY? ONLY TWO-" is all you can say before he comes back with seven boxes of cereal and oatmeal. You sigh and grab some apple butter before quickly snaking through the aisles. You let West out to grab stuff every other one and regret it.

By the time you are at the frozen section he has grabbed 20 times the stuff you actually need. You grab some texas toast and book it to the check out in just enough time to see Misha bagging their supplies. You quickly pull in and help West empty the cart.

By the time you are all home it is dinner time and everyone is hungry. You and West quickly snack on something random before starting cooking. You will all take turns on the stove with a max of two eyes and one oven rack. Cracking open the pork chops West grabbed, you pass them to him with the seasonings he picked. He starts rubbing butter and pepper over the chops while you cut up the odd vegetables from earlier. Using the can opener you also get the corn he picked up out and into a pan. You stuff the vegetables in there and find a container for West's pork. He slaps them in and you rush them to the top rack, surprised by your group's speed.

You both look at the other things and he grabs some apple sauce, the cereal, and dried apricot. You reach for the frozen toast and grab some eggs from the fridge. You set the toast on a tray in the oven then start on some eggs. You look at West's creation and can't decide if you want to cringe or laugh. You tap on his shoulder and he turns around. He walks over and helps you. You teach him how to crack the egg and how long to cook it. By the time he goes back to his "masterpiece," the vegetables and toast are done. You plate the eggs and toast as an appetizer and run it to your mother.

You go back and take out the pork. You put it on a plate and serve it just as Misha and Maison bring a plate of steak, mixed vegetables, cooked apples and some of the toast you used. You completely forgot about them, so into your own dishes. West sloppily comes over with the dessert and sets it on the table with a large mixing spoon. You grab the camera from your mother and record her reactions while Misha squeezes the children's hands anxiously. After tasting a little of everything, and surprisingly keeping a straight face, your mom makes a decision.

"The winner is...."
