Chapter 5: Jacob's power.

Jacob's P.O.V:

Oh crap, why didn't Alice see this coming. I could hear Bella and Edward arguing about this person being Edward's ex. Suddenly I found myself walking towards the new mum and saying “you do not remember ever having a boyfriend named Edward Cullen nor do you remember his family. This introduction went perfectly and for the next hour you will be in the kitchen reading and finally you will not remember me giving you any instructions but you will obey them.”

Her eyes flashed yellow all over and said “Yes Sir,” like a robot - in a monotone - and walked off. I turned, smiled to the others and collapsed.

I woke up later in my bed and sat up. I checked the clock, I had been unconscious for three quarters of an hour. I ran downstairs to find everyone in the den.

“Jacob, you're all right,” I heard Renesmee say as soon as I entered the room and the next thing I knew she was hugging me tightly around my middle.

“Yes, I'm fine now but can you let go of me as I can't breathe,” I told her.

“Okay, but don't worry me like that again,” she told me sternly in a joking way while at the same time I heard a quiet laugh coming from Emmett's direction.

“Okay, I wont,” I promised her. “Where's Amy?”

“Reading somewhere,” Alice told me.

“Talking about Amy, Jacob, what in the world did you do to her?” Bella asked me amazed.

“I don't know,” I replied truthfully.

“I'll tell you what you did,” Emmett told me. “You compelled her which means you've got a power and you're a werewolf,” he said amazed.

“Wait, So you're telling me I can control other people's minds?” I asked confused.

“Yes,” Carlisle said entering the room. “ Have you ever heard of someone of your kind having a power?” he asked me.

“Nope,” I said popping the p.

“I wonder...,” Edward said quietly.

“What Edward?” Alice asked him.

“I wonder he can control vampire's and werewolves minds as well of humans,” He said curiously.

My jaw dropped. I hadn't thought of that. Think of all the possibilities... . I snapped out of my fantasy hearing someone calling me.

“What?” I asked irritated.

“I was saying why don't we find out,” Bella said. “Well, the vampire part I mean.”

“Okay,” I told her eagerly. I turned to Rose. “You will carry me to the couch and put me down gently,” I ordered her.

“Yes, Master Jacob,” She said in a monotone and as she said this I noticed that her eyes flashed yellow and then did as I had ordered.

“Wow,” that was all I could say as I felt so dizzy from using my new power.

“This will be so much fun to use on the new Mum,” Alice said eagerly.

“Not too often, it makes my head hurt,” I told her groggily.

“Okay then not too often,” said with a glint in her eye.

“By the way did anyone see Rose's eyes flash yellow after I ordered her to do that thing?” I asked.

“Yes, I did,” Jasper told me. “Why do you want to know?”

“I wanted to know as when I ordered Amy to leave us alone about Edward being her ex I saw her eyes flash yellow and I think it might mean that the order is understood and will be obeyed,” I told him

“Cool,” I heard Renesmee say as I saw all the vampires except her, Carlisle and Bella stand up and walk to the other side of the room.

“Ah, come on guys I'm not going to use my power on you,” I told them shock filling my face. “I would never do that unless it was an emergency or for a little bit of fun.”

“We know, we're just being cautious,” Alice told me warily.

“Well, do you see Bella, Renesmee and Carlisle being cautious,” I almost snarled.

“No,” she said still wary.

“Then relax,” I told them without using my power and Alice sat back down straight away and then all the others followed her after a worried look to each other. Well most of them did I noticed that Rose didn't so I decided to make her. “Rose, I want you to sit down now.”

“Yes Sir,” she replied monotonously.

“Listen here dog, I will kill you if you ever use that power on me again,” she hissed once she obeyed me.

I ignored the headache I had and told her “No you will not as you can't even touch me to harm me. In fact, from now on you will obey my every command whether in a trance or not.”

“Yes Master,” she said in the same voice as before.

“Jake,” Nessie whined. “Don't be mean.”

“Fine, I'll let it go.” I turned to Rose. “You do not have to obey me outside of a trance but you still can't touch me to harm me.”

“Of course Sir,” was the reply.

“Now I have to leave as I have a killer headache, so I'll be back in ten minutes,” I told them.

“Serves you right that you have a headache,” I heard Rose say.

“Don't care what you think Blondie,” I called back to her.

“One of these days I will kill you dog,” she called out.

“You can't because of my order,” I informed her as I silently laughed.

Her only response was a growl which left me in stitches laughing loudly.
