As the three made their way out of the school building, they chatted about things like they always did. When the next soccer game was, if. Doll would ever get a boyfriend, which Doll would usually play off with a sarcastic comeback about the couples relationship, causing the two's faces to flush red. As they rounded the corner on their street, they were met with the sound of a gun being cocked. Austin's eyes widened, realizing that this could be the end for the three. No, he wouldn't let that happen, he cared for the two now terrified girls to much to let them go and DIE like this. As the man told the three that he wanted all of their wallets and purses, Doll reached in her boot and purchased onto a pocket knife. As she took a big breath for encouragement, Malory look over to the girl with a worried fearful expression, then putting her gaze on Austin, who still had his firery gaze on the gunman. In one swift movement, Dahlila threw the pocket knife with all of the strength she had. Soon a scream was heard from in front of them. She mentally cheered as she seen the man on the ground holding his arm in pain. Doll then grabbed the surprised couples arms and started running to the safest place she could think of. As they ran, the mans screams and heavy footsteps could be heard from behind them. As they ran into an alleyway, they hunched over trying to catch their breathes. Thinking they were now safe the three of them slid down the on the side of the brick wall and trying to comfort each other. As they sat there they heard yells from a couple feet away from the alley. They shot to their feet, ready to run past the guy and away from where they were at the moment. Malory's eyes turned cold as her breathing hitched in her throat. As Doll and Austin turned their heads there faces soon morphed into anger, concern, and fear. Tears spilled from the girls eyes as the barrel of the gun was pressed to the back of her neck. After moments of Austin's pleads and begs the man finally let Malory go, and before Malory hit the ground Austin scooped her up in his arms and hugged her. The man then shifted his gaze over to Dahlilah, who returned her Stone cold glare. The man pointed his gun right at doll's chest, smirking as he cocked the gun. The brunette froze, her blue eyes widened and was filled with much anger and fear. Austin quickly put Malory on the ground and ran in front of Dahlilah, pushing her out of the way.As soon as she hit the ground, a gunshot rang through the alleyway. Dahlilah's eyes filled with tears as she reached out her hand to at least cushion the injured boys fall, but she wasn't fast enough. There layed her best friend blood coming out of the fresh bullet wound in his chest. The man smiled wickedly and ran out of the alley. Malory was the first to move, crawling her way to her boyfriends body. As she put her two fingers on his neck, her already glossy eyes filled with more tears. She looked up at the frozen girl who was still pressed up against the wall, shock written all over her porcelain face. Doll knew he was gone as soon as she realized the tears streaming down Malory's face as she took her fingers away from his neck. A sob rippled through Malory's mouth as she brought her knees to her chest and rested her face on them. Soon Dahlilah's eyes started to fill with tears. And until the police arrived, Dahlilah and Malory hugged the dead boys body, said it would bring him back. But both of them Knew that it wouldn't
