Chapter 28

Tati P.O.V.

T: Are you high or something?

        She has to be lying, i know she is. Jacob is too innocent to do this. She obviously wants me to run away so she can have Gabe all to herself. There is no way I am believing her!

Kay: I'm serious. Why won't you believe me? Oh, you think I came for Gabe? Look, i came to warn you. It's your decision to believe me or not.

T: Ok, so what if Jacob really is going to kill me?

Kay: Stay away from Jacob as far as possible.

T: Why can't we just call the police?

Kay: He will find a way to get his revenge.He always does.......

T: How do you know this? Wait, Kaycee did he do anything to you?

Kay: *silence*

T: Kaycee, what did he do to you?!

Kay: Why do you care?

T: Just tell me

Kay: He made me do his dirty job. Anytime he does it himself, he always framed me for it. He would threaten me. You have no idea how much i have been in and out jail. There, you happy?!

T: Uh...I'm sorry i shouldn't have asked.

           I looked down in guilt. I probably shouldn't have been mean to her.

Kay: It's okay. I kinda felt nice telling someone that wouldn't think I'm crazy. But I gotta-

         The next thing you know, Jordyn comes running in tears and ran into Kaycee hands leaving me there confused. Even, Kaycee was confused.

Kay: JJ, are you okay?

JJ: It's Soni.

T: What happened to her?

          Soni was discharged from the hospital but she hasn't been coming to school lately. She was probably scared of her friends teasing her about Bailey.

JJ: She was murdered

Kay&T: What?!

           Me and Kaycee looked at each other with worry in our eyes. How did this happen?

JJ: That's not all. My friends, Taylor,Nat,and Madison also died in the last few weeks. I am so scared. What if they come for me?

Kay: JJ, everything is gonna be fine. Go wait for me in my car. I gotta talk to Tati.

            She simply nods and takes the key from Kaycee, and walks away crying.First, i find out that  Jacob wants to kill me, and i found out that some other girls and Soni were killed?! Wait.....

T: Kaycee, do you think this has something to do with Jacob?

Kay: You never know.....

T: Should I tell them that-

Kay: Don't! I mean tell them about Jordyn but not Jacob.

T: Why?

Kay: He probably gonna do something to them. This has to be a secret between us, okay?

T: *nods*

Kay: We should meet up later and talk about this. I came to you because i need your help escaping from him....

T: Wait....He is after you too?!

Kay: Obvi! But i gotta go, JJ is waiting for me in the car

           She gave me a side hug and walked to the car. I walked back into the building and saw Sean, Kenneth,Gabe, Bailey, Marielle, and Boogie having a conversation. I walked to the table breathing in and out. It's going to be hard keeping something from my friends especially Bailey and Boogie, except Boogie doesn't remember who he is. Wait , why do i believe his. For all i know, she could be lying to me. I got to the table and sat down as they all looked at me.

K: What took you so long?

T: *Silence*

              I stayed silent not knowing how to break the news. I don't know what their reaction would be.

M: Tati, What's wrong?

T: Um....

Bo: What did that girl do tell you?

B: Tati, talk to us.

T: Guys.....Soni's dead

Everyone: What?

Bo: Wait, you mean that Soni who Bailey beat the crap out of?

        Everyone laughed but Sean looked down and tried to laugh. I can't believe she remember Soni but not him. And she's been staring at Gabe too much lately. Whatever, I should shrug it off.

M: Why are we laughing, Soni's dead. Wait, was she murdered

T: Yeah.

        Their eyes turned to Bailey, who eyed us.

B: What?! I hate her but i would never kill her. Stop looking at me, tf?!

T: Guys, it definately not Bailey.

S: Then who was it? And how did you know?

T:  I don't know who it was, but it was Jordyn who told me.

          I sat down as I remembered what Kaycee and I talked about.

B: We should probably go see Jordyn.

K: You know they are going to suspect you......

M: We should probably stay away from them and act like we don't know that she is dead.

G: That sounds so bad.

Bo: We basically have no choice.

T: Um...guys can we maybe invite Kaycee to a sleepover.

Everyone: Hell no!

T: But guys...she changed, please?

M: What did she do to you out there?

S: Have you forgoting what she did to you?

G: And me?

Bo: I have a bad feeling about this....

B&K: Ikr!

T: Guys, i promised she has changed!

B: Ugh.....fine!

K: ....

Bo: Don't say, we didn't warn you

S: *sighs*

G: I don't like this idea.

        I ignored their complaining and thought about what Kaycee told me. Can i trust her?
