• Chapter 16: Boys, Boys and well James •

< 2 Weeks Later >

Let me tell you feeling alone is not a good feeling. I used to text my dad, Ashton, Luke, Calum, and Michael everyday but, they have been so busy. Lexy storms into my room.
"How did you get in my house?" I ask Lexy.
"Front door was open." She answers.
"WHAT! I could have gotten killed!" I scream.
"Yeah that's what I was thinking. You should really lock the door when you're home alone." She tells me.
"Thank you captain obvious." I retort.
"Anytime. Hey have you noticed our dads and the guys don't text or call?" She asks.
"Sadly yes." I whisper.
"Only Ashton texts me. You know in the group text with you." Lexy says.
"Oh yeah. I mean at least he still keeps us updated." I mumble.
"So does Luke text you?" She winks at me.
"Sometimes, and Lexy that's so gross." I say discussed.
"Well you said that about Niall and look at you two now!" She yells.
"Yeah but Luke is just the older brother I never had, he's 17 I'm 15. I could never like him like that. It's just nasty." I tell her.
"Lena your only 14." Lexy corrects me.
"You know what I'm 15 in two weeks!" I yell.
My computer starts ringing. Lexy and I look at each other and then run over to the loud thing. I open it to see a Skype call.

Luke Hemmings wants to Skype

I click accept and 9 faces appear on the screen.
"LENA! LEXY!" Ashton yells.
"Hey!" We scream back.
"How are yous?" Calum asks.
"Well maybe if you texted us like Luke and Ashton you would know!" We retort.
"Well Luke and Ashton have no lives so yeah!" Michael tells us.
"Hey we have lives!" Luke pouts.
"Whatever you say." Zayn says.
"So where are you guys?" Lexy asks.
"Nevada." Harry answers.
"Then we go to Washington, Oregon, and last stop California." My dad tells us.
"Don't you have like award shows there?" I ask.
"Yup a lot." Lou adds.
"That stinks." I say stinking my tongue out.
Lexy phone buzzes and she quickly pulls it out of her back pocket. She laughs as she reads it.
"What?" I ask.
She puts the blue I phone in front of my face.

You & Lena should come over like now. Hayes is about to kill James! Lol! Ryland & I can't stop laughing. Call us! :)

Kyle, James, Ryland, and Hayes are my next door neighbors. Well Kyle is. Hayes lives 4 house down from Kyle, and Ryland and James live closer to Lexy. They are really sweet and funny boys. We're all like best friends so that's cool and all.
"Who's that?" Uncle Lou and my dad ask at the same time.
"Kyle." We say in sync.
"I like that kid. Plus Ryland and Hayes. James is a little cray!" Niall says.
"That's why we love him!" Lexy answers.
"BOYS SOUNDCHECK!" Paul yells.
"Bye lovelies!" They all chorus.
"Don't forget to text us!" I yell.
"We won't." Calum says.
"Okay bye!" Lexy yells.
"Bye! Love you guys!" They all scream.
"Love you too!" We yell in sync.
They hang up.
"Let's go over to Kyle's." I tell Lexy.
"I just texted Kyle we're coming." She tells me.
"Okay."
We climb down the stairs and run out the door. I make sure it's locked and run next door. The front door was unlocked just like mine.
"BOYS YOU COULD HAVE DIED! THE FRONT DOOR WAS UNLOCKED AGAIN!!" I yell.
"Sorry m'am!" Hayes says locking the door.
His dark brown hair pushed out of his gorgeous light green eyes in a little quiff, looks good on him.
The rest of the boys come tumbling down the stairs in a tire.
"Where the hell did you get a tire!" Lexy screams reading my mind.
"The garage duh!" James yells.
His blond shaggy hair pulled into a mohawk shows off his dark blue eyes.
"I'm guessing your parents aren't here?" I ask/say.
"Yup and they aren't coming back until tomorrow night." Kyle says proudly.
His shaggy but short blond hair was pulled back thanks to gel. His hair reminded me of Luke's. His bright ocean blue eyes looked stunning today.
"COOL!" I yell.
"Yeah you wanna sleepover?" Hyland asks.
His short light brown hair was pulled up into a quiff too. His extremely light green eyes looked electric next to Hayes'.
"Thanks for inviting us to sleepover at Kyle's house." Lexy laughs.
"Oh well he was going to do it anyway." He responds.
"Yeah I was." Kyle adds.
"Yeah we have to ask though." I tell them.
"Kk!" Hayes says in his girly voice.
I glance at the clock.
"HOLY CRAP IT'S 10:36!" I yell.
"Yup!" James yells.
"James you don't have to yell your right next to me." I yell back.
"You guys are losers." Hyland says.
"Oh well! Want to watch a movie?" Kyle asks.
"Hell yes! What movie?" I ask.
"Paranormal Activity 2!" The boys yell.
"Fine." Lexy and I agree.
"Hey Lena our moms said we can stay here tonight." Lexy says.
"Okay." I respond.
"Where are your moms." Hyland asks.
"They went to this interview thing and thank god they took the babies." I say sitting beside Hayes and James.
"Eww I hate little children that dribble!" James yells again.
We all burst out laughing.
"That wasn't funny." He yells.
"Yes it was!" Hayes laughs.
"Shut up the movie is starting!" Kyle yells.
We all watch the movie laughing and jumping at scenes.
Hyland being a turd sits through the whole thing without emotion.
"Hyland I don't know how you do it but you sit there without any emotion, while we are all pissing in our pants!" I yell.
"It's the eyes I tell you!" James yells.
"Probably." Hyland answers.
"Well another movie?" Hayes asks.
"Fine but we are watching The Proposal!" Lexy yells.
I failed to high five her falling off the couch. The boys being their stupid selfs jumped on top of me.
"Get off fat arses!" I yell.
"Never!" Kyle screams.
The weight lightens as the boys get off. Then it increases again as James jumps up and down on me.
"J-Ja-Jam-J-a-m-e-s!" I try to yell.
Hyland gets up and shoves him off making him fall onto the coffee table. The glass makes a weird sound as James gets off.
"Oops I think we broke it!" Hyland says.
Kyle goes over to look.
"Man you guys cracked it!" He yells.
"Sorry Kyle." James apologizes.
"It's fine I'll blame it on my brother!" He laughs.
"Kyle, Tristan is in collage." Hayes says.
"Yup." He says proudly.
James goes over and looks at the crack. He touches it and Kyle looks at him.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"Seeing if the table is stable." He answers.
"Oh okay." I answer still questioning him.
He touches it again but it totally collapses onto the floor.
He all burst out laughing.
"It was not stable!" James yells.
I helped Kyle clean up the mess and then we all settled in sleeping pouches for the night. I felt myself drifting to sleep on Hyland's shoulder. I laid down and let sleep take over.
