The next day, at school, I have science, and guess who turns up! Zach Winters is in my science lessons! I literally have to hold myself onto my chair to stop myself from exploding and dancing around!

That sounds so over the top, but I really want to get to know him! When I met him yesterday, he seemed so nice, and obviously i am attracted to nice people.

"Ah yes, Mr. Winters, sit... over there."

Mr Timmins peered in my direction and pointed to the empty seat to my left. Zach followed his finger with his eyes, but just before they reached the seat, they veered right, and met my own eyes.

I could feel a heart attack coming on.

He smiled as he sauntered towards me and the seat, and I couldn't help but give him a teethy grin back. As he sat down, and Mr. Timmins continued the lesson, he spoke.

"Hey. Didn't know you were in top science."

"Yeah. Those lot are one group down. 'Cept for Hettie."

I nodded in Hettie's direction, where, she was watching us both very cautiously. Weird. But Zach waved, which brought a smile onto her face.

"What's wrong with her?" Zach asked as he turned back to face me. His smile had gone.

"I-I dunno, I thought she was fine, must be something up with her. What ever it is, I'll be here for her anyway, we're best mates."

"Aww, ain't that nice?" I'd brought back his grin. Me. I had made him happy.

"Is there something you two wish to share with the class, Miss Hart, Mr. Winters?" Mr Timmins' voice cut through the atmosphere like a knife.

"No, Sir," I rushed, and turned back to my work.

At the end of the lesson, I left in a hurry, I was so excited to tell the guys, but Zach had other plans. He pulled me around the corner and I let him, because I have never experienced an American dragging me into a wall.

But I leant against it.

"Where are you going?" He asked me, with a cheeky grin on his face.

"To find Gin." I replied, with a tiny grin appearing on my own mug.

"Well can't you come with me? I've found something I want you to see."

So, like any lovestruck teenager, I followed him, ignoring the shouts of my name from Gin, Ellenor Daisy and Hettie. But even though my mind was fixated on him, I could see something growing on Hettie's face, but I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. Maybe I should pass her some Ibuprofen. Maybe that would make her feel better.
