Red Hood to Joker

Batman reaches for the man with a Red Bucket on his head. He called himself the Red Hood. He was insane and trying to be a mob king, or what he called a "God". The Red Hood was falling to his death and Batman has a strict policy, not to kill. Unfortunately, the Black Knight didn't make it in time as the man fell into a tub of Toxic waste.
"I couldn't get to him in time, Jim" Batman states.
"Batman, I understand but you might want to leave. The chief is on his way." Jim Gorden replied. Turning to talk with no man in site.

The man that fell to his death moments later is in a dark room with one light above his head.
"Joe, Joe? Wake my child!" A deep voice said.
"Who....who's there? Where's my helmet? How do you know me? I'll kill you!?!" Joe questions.
    A man walked out of  the dark and into the lit area. He was dressed in a black suit and tie. With white button up, under his sports jacket. He walked out with his hands behind his back and arms at his side with fingers locked. He had a cricked grin on his face.
    "I'm Lucifer. You are dead. I'm here to make you a deal. I have great plans for you. Plans to destroy the world." He said proudly.
   "But what do you want?"  Joe trembled.

"Jim, who is the Red Hood?" Batman asked.
"We have no idea. The red helmet he had melted to his face. His whole DNA is just all wacked out from the toxic waste, the autopsy didn't go so well. " Jim explained, "I'm sorry Batman if you feel as if it was your fault. But it wasn't. You were just too far and he was going to kill you."
  "I know Jim, it just sucks." Batman replies. "Well that was all the questions I had. You know how to reach me. "qa
Jim turned around and once again no Batman.

   The Red Hood stood up and Lucifer waved his hand signaling him to sit back down.
   "You might want to sit back down for this. "
The Red Hood sat back down and you here a demented laugh. A dead looking clown walks out of the shadows.
   "Remember me Joe? You were my favorite student. " the clown laughed.
  "Pennywise?!?!" The Red Hood said as he jumped up out of his chair.  "I don't want ... I am freaking ... Ugh what the crap. No. "
   "Hahaahahah here's my deal. You take some of Pennywise powers and go spread mayhem like you have been doing. And you will rule Gothem....and a possibility the world some day." Lucifer presented. "But you must do something for us in the long run."

"Of course there was. What is it?" The Red Hood asks.
  "You must kill The Batman!" Pennywise shouts.
  "I'll...I'll ....take ...it. I'll destroy The Batman for ruining my life, for killing me." The Red Hood said with anger.
   Lucifer and Pennywise laugh and say good at the same time.

Batman breaks into the lab to do his own Autopsy. He sneaks past the guards and slips into the vents. He then comes out of the vent where the morgue is. He walks to the cooler marked John Doe (red hood) he stops before opening it. And realizes its not shut all the way and then looks around. He then opens it and there is no body. He then hears someone coming and slips back into the vent and watches as they come in. The person drops what he is holding and runs out of the room. Batman then gets back out and looks for clues but finds nothing. He then slips back into the vents and sneaks to the roof and leaves.
  "Alfred, The Red Hood is missing, there is no clues either. " Batman speaks into his headset.
  "Master Wayne, ill check the scanners." a voice replies in his ears. A few minutes pass. "I'm not seeing anything.  Master Wayne."
  "Thank you Alfred." Batman replies.
"Oh something just came up on the scanners master Wayne. They said the body it was on fire and it was hanging from a building with a note that says 'Batman you'll pay, hahaha!' and there is a Joker card attached to the rope. The fire broke the rope before the authorities could get to it. This seems bad Master Wayne." Alfred read.

  A few nights later the alarm at a chemical plant goes off. Batman shows up and the place is ransacked. There is a lot of chemicals on the floor and some was missing. There was a guard that had a small spear in his heart with a paper attached. Batman looks closer and un ravels the paper a little.
  "Alfred, there is a guard here, but he's dead." Batman proclaims, "the item that killed him was a small spear like thing that says 'BANG' on it."
"Like those toy clown guns master Bruce?" Alfred replies.
"I knew that looked familiar, yes exactly like that." Batman continues, "I wonder what happened."
Batman then looked around.
"Alfred there is a camera."
"Hacking the system now. " Alfred says.
"Thanks Alfred..." Batman then notices a card the counter that reads Joker. "I'm bringing home a present Alfred. "
"Okay master Wayne, hurry though you need to see this. " Alfred states with concern.

"Master Bruce, he stole nitrous oxide, looks like a lot, too. Oh he took the scientist too. And some other chemicals I can't tell what they are." Alfred says as they both watch the video.
"Do you see anything I didn't"
"No Alfred, Thank you." Batman replies. "We need to find him quick!"
A message appears on the screen and Batman puts his mask back on and hits a button. Alfred scrambles out of the way to make sure no one sees him. Gordon then appears on the screen.
"Jim, what is it?"
"I thought you should view this first. We got a DVD from a cop on the street with a Joker card I graves on it. And when I say from a cop I mean it was sticking out of his chest. " Jim replies.
"Can you play it now or do I need to come up there? Batman asks
"I'm playing it now it is important!"
A black screen comes up then The Joker's face.
"Hello Gothom. Joker Here. Meet Doctor Radknock." Joker pans the camera from his face to the doctor in a chair. "Oh sorry Doctor Harriet Radknock. "
In the background the Doctor speaks, "it's okay, Mmmm Mr. Joker. "
""Shut it you half wit Mr. Joker was my father," Joker yells and laughs a little after, "well it looks like I'm going to have to test this on you."
"Wait you said..."
"Rule number one, don't trust a psycho path." Joker interrupts with laughter.
The video then shows Joker placing a gas mask over the Doctor all while the Doctor is struggling to get out and screaming for help.
Joker pauses, "Oh wait. I can put this in a flower...oh forget it I'll figure it." He then continues to turn on the gas tank. You can see the mask fill up with green gas and the Doctor is laughing uncontrollably and then the Joker joins in. Finally the Doctor makes a cough noise and his head slouches.
As the Joker turns off the gas, "kudos if your playing dead Doctor." He then stands in front of the camera blocking the body from on screen. "Nope" The Joker laughs. He then moves off screen making the dead Doctor visible. The Doctor lifeless body sat in the chair head tilt with a abnormal smile on his face.
"Oh, Congratulations Doctor, we did it," The Joker says as he shoots confetti out onto the Doctor.
"Jim any finger prints or anything we can use?" Batman asks interrupting the video.
"No sir but we did find the body in an abandoned warehouse. He had lots of chemicals in him and the coroner is doing tests." Jim Gordon answered.
"Good bye!" The joker finishes and the camera goes black and Jim reappears on the screen. "Send me the address and some of the chemicals I want to run some of my own tests." Batman demanded.
"Right away, Batman, I can trust you. Wait where do I send the chemicals?" Jim clarifies.
"I'll be right over on the way to the warehouse, leave them at the spot light. Thank you." Batman replies turning off the feed.
"No please Master Wayne?" Alfred says stepping back into the light.
"No time Alfred."

Batman is looking through the warehouse that was in the video. He finds a few trash left over from everything. "Cops should have looked through this and tried testing for DNA."
"Yes they should have master Wayne, but you know the cops."
Batman walks towards a chalk board and sees something strange on it. He then turns on his infrared and sees blue prints for disposing the gas in the water main. He runs to the door. "Alfred get Gordon on the phone tell him I found a blue print to dispose the gas in the water main so get the police there asap!"
"Yes master Bruce. Right away!" Alfred frantically replied.

"Oh the cops, they always ruin the fun...how'd they figure out my plan?" Joker speaking to himself. "Oh well we have come to far. Hahahahahah!"
Joker places a barrel on the rail near the opening of the water mains.
"Well Gothom, nice knowing you! "
"Put the Barrel down, now Joker!" Batman says as he swings from the shadows on a grappling hook. Batman kicks the Joker making the barrel fall on the floor and roll off.
"Umph" Joker hits the rail behind him. "I should have left it open instead, dang!"
Joker goes in swinging and Batman dodges then ducks from his next one. He then picks him up and slams him to the ground. At this point the cops have started coming in with their guns drawn.
"Freeze Joker!" Gordon yells.
Batman pins the Joker down as the boys in blue start to help.
"Well, I guess Batman has me. Foiled, this time. I'll be back! I always am!" Joker yells as Batman zip ties his hands.
"I'd take him to Arkum, James. They can treat him better. He is insane!" Batman hands over the Joker to the police.

A few months later
Batman is on a roof patrolling the area when Alfred comes on the com. "Master Bruce? We have a situation."
"What is it Alfred?"
"Well, the Joker just broke out of Arkum with the help of a Doctor that works there named Harleen Quinicen. They said she just went psycho and broke him out." Alfred replied.
"Oh and there is a hostage situation at the circus I think you should get there. "
Oh and I didn't even buy my tickets yet." Batman says grappling off the roof.
