NIALL.
It's been a month since Liam changed his attitude towards me and everyday is worse than the last. He completely ignores me, as if I'm not even there and he's never home. I'm alone most of the time or Lou comes and keeps me company. I have told him what is happening and he's the only friend I have right now because both Harry and Zayn, who I previously thought were my friends, are ignoring me too. Which is kinda funny because Harry was the only companion I had before and now he's not there.
Things are also worse at school. Everyone watched our wedding, so they know about Liam and I. They were not the problem until Liam started parading girls in front of me. He started changing girls like he changes his underwear and everyone is making fun of me because of it. I really have no problem with everyone bullying me but I really can't take this humiliation.
You may wonder how I deal with all this on a daily basis. I hide in the library, like right now. I have also been thinking about getting a tutor for homeschooling.
The bell rings while I luckily just finished chapter four of The Bourne Identity. I stand up from my spot in the back of the library and go to check out the book.
"Good read, Niall?" The librarian, Mrs Keller, is actually one of the only people who sympathises with me. Teachers are the only people who seem to treat me nicely and try their best to make my situation more bearable.
"Yes, Ma'am." I smile at her while she's checking out the book.
"Try to enjoy the rest of your day, honey." She hands me the book and I thank her. I turn towards the exit and start walking out but I hear her mumble something like 'poor child' under her breath. Yeah, poor me.
I exit the library and head to my English class. I am the last one in, so every pair of eye is on me. I bow my head, something I've been doing a lot lately, and walk to the back corner of the class where I am able to observe the class.
"Niall, I'd like to see you after class." The teacher, Mr Lee, says after I sit down and I only nod before taking out the book and continue reading it.
Three quarters of chapter five and the bell rings. I remain sitting while the whole class leave and by the end, it's only me, Liam and Mr Lee. I walk to the front of the class and wait for him to speak.
"Mr Payne, you can leave now." I know he isn't talking to me, so I'm assuming that Liam hasn't left yet.
"You are about to speak to my husband, I think it's only fair that I get to hear too. We know everything about each other, don't we babe?" Liam answers cockily and put his arm around my waist but I roughly pull away from him.
Mr Lee was about to say something but I cut him off. "It's fine sir. Can you just tell me?"
"Fine. We have checked your records and you are a straight A student. We understand your situation and we also think what you requested will be good for you, so long as someone gets your homework to you and brings in back the next day. You will also have to be here for tests and exams." He gives me the conditions.
"What are you talking about? What going on?" Liam growls out but is ignored.
"I don't think that will be a problem, sir." I say to him.
"Good. All you have to do is sign these papers that states you will abide by these conditions and should one be broken without a reasonable excuse, you will have to come back." I take the papers and quickly scan through them before signing them.
"Thank you much for understanding, sir." I shake his hand before exiting the class. I walk to the head office to sign out, with Liam right on my heel.
"You ready, Niall?" The office dean asks and I nod. "Will Mr Payne be going home with you?"
"No, ma'am. I will be going alone." I reply, which I think was a mistake because Liam got angry just afterwards.
"No. I will be going home with him, please. We have a lot to discuss." Liam says through his teeth and I know not to argue.
Liam and I sign some papers before he painfully grabs my upper arm and drags me out of the school. When we get to his car, he opens it and literally throws me in before going to the driver's side and getting in. He pauses for a second to collect himself before starting the car and speeding out of the school.
When we get home, Liam kills the engine and gets out of the car with a slam of the door. He is pissed and I'm scared to get out, I have never seen him so angry before. I slowly get out of the car and walk to the open front door to meet a very angry Liam.
Oh dear Lord, please let this argument end quickly.
