My Ex-Sisters and Best Friends

I awoke to here arguing downstairs, Dani and Mom were going at it again. Usually I would just accept it and go back to sleep but lately they'd been blaming me for her recent behaviour because we USED to be close but now that we're not she's on a downward spiral. But it isn't my fault it's Christina's! Allow me to explain.

When I was sixteen Christina decided that she didn't want to be in the band anymore but instead wanted to settle down with Nick after his proposal that same week. She then moved out and the band fell apart. Katherine, who was left in charge, had no idea what she was doing and Lisa was too depressed after Christina left to help out. Amy threw herself into her work after deciding she wanted to be a doctor and started Medical School. This meant she was never around to film so when Kath finally figured out what we'd do we couldn't because Amy was at school. I'm happy for her though, but i'm mostly jealous. Christina was my role model so when she left I was hit really hard by it and my grades fell meaning that I had to retake the grade I skipped. I'd be heading to college after the summer ends and I planned to go as far away as possible.

Now Dani was hit the worst by Christina's sudden departure. With the rest of us preoccupied she made a bunch of bad choices which included making friends with a gang of snobby rich girls. The stereotypical vein, pretty, self absorbed girls who make anyone who's different's lives a living hell. They took innocent, sweet Dani and turned her into one of them. I can't even look at her anymore. In fact I don't WANT to see her anymore. I looked over at Lisa's bed to see she was gone, probably downstairs for breakfast. My gaze turned to the clock which said 10:45. Wow. Usually i'm up by ten.

I got out of bed and checked my phone to see a text from my friend Lucy.

Lucy = Hey we're meeting at starbucks at eleven for a coffee wanna come? xx

I texted her back an okay before quickly getting dressed and running downstairs towards the shouting. I swear to god if it weren't for Lucy, Emma, Chris and Jamie my life would be hell, Lucy is the fiery and flirty one, Emma's the quite and overly careful one, Chris is gay and the nicest guy ever and Jamie's the funny and immature (in a fun way) one. They were the greatest people ever!

I walked into the kitchen and smiled warmly at Amy who had looked up from her books to say hello. I was going to go out the back way as Mom and Dani were STILL arguing by the front door.

"Where are you going?" Kath said from the stove,

"Starbucks."

"Okay." Kath said, "Oh! Wait! This came for you."

She handed me a thick envelope. I wonder what's inside?

This was pretty short. But it's just an intro. This was the first draft for On My Own so they may be similar in some places but my friend wanted me to post it so if people like it I'll continue x
