Jenny's POV

He was just another boy and I was just another girl that found each other. We were there for each other. He was there for me, I was there for him. I cared and I thought he did too.

Who was there when he needed practice at 5 in morning? Me. Who was there when I needed help on my biology homework? Him. He was my other half. Then X- Factor season came around. He tried out a couple of years ago but didn't make it. I was devastated. Then came his second shot. He made it, but then he was eliminated.

Or so he thought. He was put into a boy band with four other boys. I couldn't be more proud of my best friend, Liam Payne. But then past a week, then another, and then another. No calls. No texts. Nothing.

Then those weeks became months. Still nothing. Then One Direction was eliminated. I was in ruins. But he made it, he was too good to let go. A couple of weeks later, his band got signed.

Liam had finally made it. But its been a 3 years since I've seen Liam. No calls, no texts, nothing. I've moved so has changed a lot of things too.

But wherever I go, I hear about One Direction. And when I hear the name Liam Payne I don't think about the big pop star. I think about my best friend, Liam.

The one I would climb trees to get to his house or that I would go to the cafe with him and we would sit there for hours and hours and talk about whatever came to mind. And that one time where I fell asleep in his arms the night of my first break up. Most importantly, I think about my other half, my best friend, the reason I would smile, that left me for 3 years to frown.
