So, you know how I said no updates...well, as I was going through my computer I found a file entitled "Incomplete Projects." So, I was curious. I had long forgotten about this folder. And when I opened this file I found a story...I read through it and I thought to myself, "Self, this is actually pretty good. Why did you not finish it?" And I replied to myself by saying, "I have no idea." Okay, so I'm getting weird, huh? Lol. Anyway, I thought, "Hey, I might as well upload it onto wattpad." So, here it is. I already have a million and one stories on my page...why not add on another one?

Okay, tell me what you think? I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks and Happy Readings! (:

Prologue: An Arranged Marriage

Romania, 16 years earlier

"I will not subject my daughter to this preposterous agreement. She's barely one!" The Lady Sonia Dodrescu exclaimed. "I will not stand for it!"

Her husband, Lord Sorin Dodrescu sat idly by the King, for he was the king's right hand man. She sent her husband of fifteen years and evil glare she had never used before.

"How can you say nothing? She is your daughter as well," she pleaded. She wouldn't sit back and watch her daughter be forced into a political marriage.

She watched as her husband opened his mouth to speak, only to be silenced by the King. "It is alright Sorin," the King said, "She can voice her opinion. Tatiana is her daughter."

King Vasile Alecsandri was known for his fair rulings and his compassion, but at this moment, Sonia saw none. All she saw was a man who wanted to shackle her daughter to his son.

"Your Majesty-" Sonia was cut off by a wave of the King's hand.

"Lady Dodrescu," he said calmly, "This will be a very fortuitous marriage. Cyprian is a great boy."

Prince Cyprian was only a month older than Tatiana, along with his twin sister Crina, and was to be the next King of Romania. King Vasile thought it necessary to arrange the marriage now, when they were young, so they could grow up knowing what was to come.

"I'm sure he is Your Majesty. I just think Tatiana should have the choice of who to marry," Sonia addressed. "What if they don't like each other?"

"That is neither here nor there. The marriage is set."

Sonia was steaming, though she hid it perfectly. "Sorin?"

Her husband merely glanced away. Sonia knew she was defeated.

"I see," Sonia said. She looked at the King. "Forgive me for my disturbance." She dipped her head and turned. Walking out of the grand hall, she knew what she had to do.
