It all happened in my dance class. I was standing there, waiting for the class to start, alone as usual, when he entered the room. I guessed he was new in town, because I had never seen him, and no one of my classmates either did, I could tell because of their faces. Everyone went like ‘Oh, he’s so cute!’ and ‘Who is he?’ or ‘Please, come and talk to me!’ or even ‘I’d totally do him’, but he didn’t appear to notice.
I looked at him for a moment, and then I realized what everyone was talking about. He was so cute. He had short dark hair, and some freckles and moles in his face. He was tall, about 1,80m and quite fit. He was wearing a black T-shirt, some blue shorts, with white stripes on their sides, and a pair of white trainers. I couldn’t help myself from looking at him, and then he noticed. He looked at me, and then smiled. It was then when this strange thing came all throughout my body. A warm, weird and pleasing feeling I had never felt before. My heart started beating faster. I didn’t know what to do, so I just smiled back. He started walking straight up to me, and before I could realize, he was actually there, by my side.
“Hello”, he said, with a smile on his face.
“Hi”, I said, in this stupid and giggly tone.
“It looks like I’m not the only boy who likes dancing, eh?”. He laughed. I didn’t know what to say, so I only let out a shy “Yeah”, and laughed.
He held his hand out and said “Max. You?”
“Justin”, I hardly reached to say. We shook hands and we stood there, holding them, as if we let go we’d fall or something.
He was staring at me, and so was I, looking at his brown, shiny and beautiful eyes. It seemed like they had bewitched me, taking me away from real world, to a place where there was only us and no one else. Just him and me. Just me and him. It was then when Mrs Marshall came into the room, shouting, as every beginning of the class, taking me back to Earth.
“Ok class, we have a new dancer. Max.”, she said, pointing at him. “You’ll have time to meet him at the end of the class. Everyone to your places”.
Everyone went to their usual place, and then, he said to me “Can I stay here?”, pointing at the floor next to me. “Of course” I said, without even thinking.
