Chapter 28

YN's P.O.V

I looked over at the clock and the time was 9:35PM. Me and Ray have been talking on the phone for 2 hours now,and don't plan to stop anytime soon.

I'm rapped up in my blanket,staring at the rain drops racing each other down the window payne. It was cold. But it didn't bother me,Ray took my mind off it and everything else. He makes me laugh and crack up, he makes me blush so hard, he's just....so perfect.

"Yeah I'm not like other girls,who get moody on their full stop haha" I said. Ray got confused. "Full stop??" He asked. I laughed and said yes. "Why don't you say peri-" and I had to cut him off right there. "DON'T SAY THAT WORD. I HATE IT." I said sternly. Ray took a slight pause and busted out laughing. I laughed too 😂

We talked and talked and before I know it,it was 11:55PM. "It's getting kinda late now Ray" I said in a soft tone. The sleepiness was obvious in my voice. Ray whined like a baby. "But I don't want you to goooooo :((" He panted. I giggled. He's so cute. "I don't wanna go either but- *yawns* I'm just so sleepy right now." I said. I yawned til' my eyes watered. Since I was small child I've loved sleeping more than anything,so I don't know how to go to bed pass midnight.

Ray sighed over the phone. The disappointment in his voice made me sad. "I'm sorry Ray. I'll stay on til I fall asleep....if that'll make you feel any better?" I said,trying to cheer him up. and it worked. "iight that's cool." He replied. We talked and talked and everything went black. I fell asleep with the phone on my ears...Ray was singing to me.

Ray sang "With You" by Chris Brown over the phone,to make YN fall asleep.

Ray's P.O.V

I sang for her. "YN?.....YN?" That's when I knew she was fast asleep. But Man....I really wanted to tell her I love her before she fell asleep. But,next time. Hopefully.
I have to make her be mine.

It's Saturday,and YN is going out with her Mom to JCPenny,and Berlington,and other stores to shop together. YN would usually go out and idle with the gang,but she's changed. She prefers to spend time with her fam now. An she had no idea her mom would be so cool to hang out with.

They made a quick stop at Red Lobster to have lunch. And YN saw the most unbelievable thing she has ever seen.

YN's eyes widen at them. Roc and Pat were sitting opposite each other around a table,it looked a lot like a date. They were blushing non stop and communicating very flirtatious. What tf is Roc doing??

"YN sweetie? What are you looking at?" YN's mom asked,seeing YN's expression. "Nothing." She replied. Roc saw YN looking at him weirdly,but had no clue it was her. It was until he noticed the lady she was sitting with.

"Hold tf up." Roc said. Pat's eyebrows curled in confusion. "What?" She said. She looked in the direction Roc was looking but couldn't figure out what his attention was on. "Ain't- ain't that YN's mom??" Roc asked Pat. Patricia looked and remembered that face from months ago. "Oh yeah..." Pat said. Roc was tensing up. "Gimmie a sec." He said,and got up and walked towards YN and her mom.

"Oh my freakin' gosh mom Roc is coming over here!!" YN yelled in a whisper.

YN's mom turned around to see if Roc is really coming,and to her surprise he was already standing behind her shoulder. "Hello Mrs. Williams." Roc said politely shaking her hand. YN looked away as Roc turned to her. "Is this YN?" He asked her mom. Her mom answered yes. Roc's face brightened immediately. He looked down on YN's arm and saw the birthmark. "Damn YN!" He blurted out,only to cover his mouth after seeing YN's mom's face after he said that curse word.

"Do you mind if we talk for a bit?" Roc asked her mom. She said yes. YN rolled her eyes,and walked to the bathroom with Roc. YN really did not want to do this,cus YN could feel Pat staring her down as she walked passed with Roc.

They stopped at the entrance of the restrooms,and Roc quickly got to the point. "YN you look so.....different." He said. YN gave him a blank stare. "Well duh!!! The girl you're on a date with burned my face! Tf you expect??" YN attacked. Roc sighed and ignored the rhetorical question. "Why have you been avoiding me since you recovered?? Did I do something wrong?? What school you going to?" Roc asked. YN sighed. "I go to RLA now. And I'm keeping my distance from y'all cus if it wasn't for you guys motivating me to bully Fat Pat ,and for me and you having a thing going on,my life wouldn't have changed forever so that's why." YN finished.

"So it's my fault you got hurt??" Roc asked in defense. YN didn't even answer that,she attempted to walk away. She simply couldn't take this conversation anymore,especially for the fact that Pat was around.

Roc snatched YN by her arm and forced her back against the wall. He stepped closer to her. "Boy get off me." YN ordered. Roc chuckled. "The same old YN....I missed you so,so much." Before YN could reply,Roc smashed his lips unto hers. YN even let out a soft moan. This one kiss brings back so much feelings they once had for each other. But YN was sensing something horribly wrong. She pulled away from the kiss. "Um Roc..." She trailed off. "Yeah?" He said,brushing her hair out of her face. "Why are you and Pat hanging out? After what she did to me??" YN asked getting real serious. Roc though,was unable to find an answer. He looked down in shame. "I can't explain that. But it really isn't what you think YN I swear!" Roc said.

"Whatever. Look,imma just go now. My mom must be waiting." YN said. Roc didn't say anything. YN walked out and was struck with fright to see what she saw.

An ambulance siren filled the air as it just arrived in the parking lot. A woman was being carried on a stretcher into the ambulance. It was her own mother. It seemed as if a fellow customer saw her in some sort of health hazard and called for help.

"OH MY GOD STOP! THAT'S MY MOM!!!" YN yelled in fear. She raced to the ambulance and hopped into the back where her mother was. YN eyes were filled with tears so her vision was insanely blurry. She wiped her eyes and looked at her mom. Foam was uncontrollably escaping her mouth. She was having a seizure.

YN was crying so hard as the ambulance raced out the parking lot. YN looked out the window and saw.....Pat. Pat waved and smiled at YN. It was her. YN's face was filled with pure anger and fury. "That bitch.😡" YN said to herself. She knew talking to Roc was a bad idea. The paramedics were trying all they can to keep her mom alive and conscious....but
