Chapter 14

I apologise for the late update 😘 On with the story!

It's been six (6) months since Roc and Shantel have been in an internet relationship. The crew also,started getting good grades in school,and have cut down on certain things,like smoking,stealing,fighting,and bullying.They're still badasses though.For a month,Roc has been trying to e-mail/contact Nev,but because Nev gets so many stories,it took a while,but he finally replied.

As soon as Nev and Max got Roc's e-mail,they called him on video chat.

Nev & Max: Hey Roc!

Roc: *giggles* hey guys,haha I'm glad y'all finally reached out to me.

Nev: haha yeah,so I understand you and Shantel have been together for like..

Roc: about 7 months now yeah

Nev: and you want us to help you guys meet up.

Roc: absolutely man

Max: So have you guys ever videochat or probably Facetime?

Roc: *sighs* uh,no.See,she always has excuses.Even this one time she stood me up.

Max & Nev: oooh,that's sus

Roc: I know mayne that's why I called y'all

Max & Nev: okay,we'll meet you soon and get down to business!

{1 week later}

Nev and Max did some research,and used Shantel's number to track where she lives,only to discover that she DOES NOT live anywhere in New York like she claimed.The number linked to her address near where Roc lives.They also researched on her photos,dragged the image into Google search,and find nothing.BUT,an old MySpace page came up,with a girl that looks exactly like Shantel.The account was last used in 2011,and the name: Janet Hudson. That rose an alarm.

When they showed Roc,he was devastated.He did suspect something so it wasn't really of a shock,but he was pissed that the girl he's fallen in love with may not be who she says she is.Every lil thing is just adding up now.At the restaurant,excuses for video chatting,Skyping,meeting up,everything was all clear to him now.All he needs is to go with Nev and Max to meet this person.

As Roc sat around the table with Nev and Max,and the camera crew watching them,he buried his face in his palms,silently crying.This really hurt him.What many people don't know is that Roc is highly sensitive,especially when it comes to love.The crew knows everything,and are supporting Roc,only Ray and Prince kinda laugh at him sometimes,but they don't mean anything.That's their bro.YN comforts Roc in the cutest ways possible.But right now,Roc was in no mood to talk to anyone.Nev got up,and rubbed Roc's shoulder. "Hang in there man." and he went outside,and called Shantel,to arrange for them to meet up.Hopefully she agrees.

The Phone Convo

Shantel: uh,hello?

Nev: hey! This is Shantel right?

Shantel: uh,yeah... *unsure*

Nev: Well my name's Nev,I'm doing a show called Catfish where-hello?

Shantel: ...

Nev: UH,HELLO??

Nev: she hung up on me! o.o
