Broken Light

The Amulet

      BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

I bolted upright in my bed, and hopped out, flicking on the light, and pressing the button on my watch to stop the blaring alarm.

"Another morning.." I yawned, and stretched before grabbing my clothes.

After pulling on my clothes, I popped open my computer to check Deviantart.

"Hmm...Cute drawing, awesome drawing, drama.." I muttered, used to the stuff appearing on my screen.

After checking my notifications, I looked at the time. 6:35. I grabbed my stuff, and ran out the door. After sitting for 10 minutes at the bus stop, the bus came and took us to school. I stepped into the school, and prepared to sit at the table when....

"JOOCLYN!"

I was knocked over as my friends flew at me.

"Guys, OW, for the first thing." I grunted, but still giggling as I stood up.

The three girls laughed.

"Sorry, we were excited." said Brea, and Courtney and Rae nodded.

"I've known you all for at least a few years, and you still haven't gotten over the jumping on friends on their birthday thing?" I asked, laughing.

So I spent a day at school, almost normal, except for the fact my friends kept bothering the teachers with the fact that it was my birthday. But little did I know, that everything was about to change.

After school, my friends approached me.

"Hey nerd, we got you present!" Brea said, pulled it out.

It was a amulet, with the gem being a bright gold, and a golden chain. Just like in my stories..... I thought, and reached for it.

"Wow guys! This is the best present ever!" I squealed, giving all three of them a huge hug.

When I got home, I looked at the amulet, before putting it on my neck. It started to glow, and vibrate. A LOT.

"W-whats happening!" I yelled, and everything went white.

And Now the plot will thicken! Soon after this, I will start the world, where her stories come to life. Also, as I warned, there are a lot of fandoms in here, because I am a huge fandom nerd, and so is Jaclyn. (Which is me XD)
