What.....I'm not dead? I thought, looking around. Everything was white. Blindingly white, hurting my eyes as I continued. Then I saw a woman. She was tall, with long, long white hair. As I stared closer, I saw it had a pale rainbow tint to it.
"Jaclyn....You have been called here for a reason." the woman spoke. "I am Carmen, queen of the dimensions, and you are here to help me."
"Wait, what? Me? The crazy fandom nerd who writes too many fan fictions?" I gaped.
Carmen laughed, a heavenly sound. "Yes you. You and your friends, Jaclyn, are the perfect ones for the job."
Job? A god is giving me a job? I thought. That's the weirdest thing ever.
"I want you and your friends to be Protecters Of The Dimensions." She continued.
My jaw dropped. A god was asking me to do a job I have always dreamed of in my life!
"Jaclyn. You will be the leader." Carmen explained, and stepped forward. She touched my amulet. "From now on, you will wield the power of light. You are able to change your form, and you have one for every world you wish to be in. You also have the power to appoint other beings to join the Protecter team. Just state their name, and what powers you give them to use."
I slowly nodded. "I accept these powers as my own, and I promise to never misuse them."
"Good. Goodbye, Leader of light."
The land swirled again, and I found myself back in my room. As I settled, I knew what I needed to do. I called Brea, Courtney, and Rae, and told them I needed to meet them. Half an hour later, my friends appeared at the door.
"Hey Jaclyn. What do you need?"
