I sat in the limo all solemn, just watching Kane as he drank some really expensive wine that had some really weird name in I believe French that I could never pronounce.

After a while, I got sick of staring at his all too happy face, so I turned my body towards the window and stared out it. I saw the occasional car headlights, but I did start to notice a lot of trees passing by in a blur.

After about thirty minutes I began to wonder when we were getting to LAX. I've ridden there numerous times before having to have had to travel with my parents a lot, but this ride seemed really long. I also don't remember seeing this many evergreen trees, it was really weird.

After about another ten minutes, the car rolled to a soft stop. I looked around expecting to see the hustle and bustle of LAX; all the business men and women with brief cases and the occasional celebrity wandering around on their phone with a body guard or two, but what I saw was the complete opposite.

Looking around I noticed that we were deep in the woods, and standing tall and high in front of me was a huge castle. This castle had lots of illuminating lights shining through the numerous windows and spacious balconies that had glass doors leading towards them. Then I looked towards the door, which was again huge, but the thing that had caught my eye were the numerous guards lining the walkway to the castle, the two standing by the door, and the ones approaching the car.

The guards all had on black suits with shiny dress shoes, a black tie, and black suit jacket, honestly, they reminded me more of the guys from MEN IN BLACK, then castle guards, but then I realized I had to idea where the hell I was, so I turned towards the door after I realized it was open from the slight breeze knotting my loose blonde curls.

I looked and saw that the driver was patiently waiting by the door for me to leave, but what I wanted to see was Kane, and after looking, I noticed him walking towards the limo with two guards casually talking with them.

I looked towards Kane to gather his attention, and once he saw me still sitting in the limo he raised an eyebrow and shook his head, then said in a smartass tone, "Never seen a castle have you?"

Now that just irks me to no end.

"No shit I've seen a castle, numerous actually, England has some lovely ones by the way, but I have yet to seen a creepy one that belongs in a horror movie where the girl gets murdered. Oh, and speaking of which, WHERE THE FUCK ARE WE KANE!!" God, he seriously pisses me off. That, and I know the wedding planner never mentioned visiting a creepy castle on our honeymoon.

Kane just smirked yet again, and I could tell he was trying not to laugh, and then I blew up.

"KANE DE LUCA, TELL ME WHERE WE ARE NOW! WE SHOULD BE ON A PLANE AT LAX ON OUR WAY TO ORLANDO, AND ALL YOU FUCKING DO IS SMIRK LIKE AN ASS AT ME! ANSWER ME GOD DAMNIT!"

After venting I honestly felt better, now if only he'll give me an answer.

After about thirty seconds he finally replied in a bored tone. "This is my family's home, and you are here to be wedded, and you will--"

"What do you mean we are to be wedded? We just got married," I said while pointing to my ring.

"If you would just shut up and let me finish," He stopped and waited to be sure I was quite. "As I was saying, we are going to be wedded before my family. My father, the king, will be wedding us in merely two hours. Afterwards we are to go to the honeymoon suite in the castle, where we will make the final part of the transformation."

I stood there dumbfounded...transformation, what the hell is he talking about.

"Are you drunk or something, what the are you talking about, a transformation, into what?"

"Theresa, are you that daft?"

"...I guess??"

"Tess, I'm a vampire, and you are to be married into a vampire coven tonight, but to me. The Prince of Vampires, you will become the Princess. Tonight, you are to become a vampire."

"But....what...are you....no...huh?" Yes, I realized I sounded like a bambling idiot but at that point in time I didn't give a damn.

I then thought this must be a joke, something from MTV where they prank famous people into believing stupid shit.

"Kane, where are the cameras? You can come out now camera men, I know you're out there! I'm not falling for your stupid tricks, I'm much smarter than that!"

"Theresa, dear, this is no joke. Your parents made a deal with my father before you were born that you would wed me; both in the human world and the vampire world. They were in a great amount of debt at the time due to a major movie fail, and my father paid them two-hundred million for you. You are now mine, and will eternally be mine."

"I...I don't know what to believe anymore...this can't be true....Kane, TELL ME YOU ARE JOKING!?" Yes, I know I'm going into hysterics and sounding crazy, but honestly, I'm so confused, and don't know what to believe anymore. This just sucks.

"Dear, do you want me to show you?" Kane questioned while holding in a laugh at my earlier antics.

"Fine, do it."

And then next thing I know Kane is behind me when one second ago he was infront of me. I turned around and stared at the wondrous creature infront of me.

His fangs elongated, and pointed. His eyes a deep midnight blue compared to his normal baby blue eyes.

That was then I realized that I was afraid of this creature, a creature that can tear my throat out or rip my head off. I backed away whimpering and in fear, my eyes bulging out of my head. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and tripped over a loose root that was lying above ground.

I fell, using my hands to support myself better as I fell, and when I pulled my hands up I realized there was blood from a few scrapes I had just gotten. Kane whiffed the air and suddenly let loose a growl, one that made me cower into the ground, and sob. I didn't care that I was ruining my dress, or getting filthy, I was too shocked to care.

Then Kane changed back into his normal self and came down to hold me. I tried escaping his grasp; my tears blurring my vision, but he held me and said warm comforting things to me.

"Tess, you're ok, I swear I would never hurt you, I love you, but you needed to see the real me. I'm sorry that I scared you that much, and that I made you cry. I never meant to do that to you, and I'm sorry Tess, really am sorry." By now I had finally calmed myself down and nodded my head into his shoulder as a way of showing that I understood what he was saying and that I do forgive him, but I wouldn't look him in the eyes, I was still afraid of him.

After I fixed myself up slightly, rubbing away the smudged mascara and eyeshadow we made our way inside the castle and I was utterly shocked at it's appearance.

"Are you sure you've seen a castle before? You look pretty damned amazed."
