Chapter 1: The Beginning

My name is Ashley Grey and I am shamelessly in love with a boy that just uses me for his own pleasure. The worst part is that boy is Austin Mahone the most popular guy in school. Right now we are keeping these little encounters a secret considering we aren't dating. It all started the day I was walking home from school alone in the rain........

"Stupid mom forgot to pick me up" I whispered to myself quietly

I was trudging through the rain in my soaking wet clothes.
I had walked a few blocks when a car slowly drove next to me.
A certain car........ Austin Mahone the douchebag of my high school's fancy red range rover.

Oh god what the fuck could he want from me.

"Need a ride?" He calmly said to me.
Realizing that my hair and makeup probably looked like a mess from the rain I quickly looked down.

"I'm fine thanks" I mumbled.

"Come on its pouring and you're soaked just get in the car".

Why did he even stop to give me a ride I haven't associated with him once?

"Babe are you getting in the car or not?"

I whipped my head up noticing that I was staring down at the ground.

"Um I guess" I say as I open the passenger door to his car.

I quickly got in not saying another word.

The car ride was extremely awkward especially since I have never talked to this boy in my life.

"Uh turn here" I said as we got to my street. We arrived at my house and I mumbled a small "thanks" just loud enough so he could hear.

"Ashley wait!"

"Yes"

"Um I know we don't really know each other but you should probably give me your number in case you happen to be walking alone in the rain again and you need a ride"

I chuckled at his attempt to come up with a good reason to get my number.

"Sure" I said quietly. We exchanged numbers and I got out of the car and started walking towards my house.

"Bye Austin thanks for the ride" I slightly waved and he started driving away.

I got into my house and climbed the stairs to my bedroom. I laid in bed thinking about the past events. Austin isn't anything like most people say he is. Everyone says he's a douche that tries to get every girl in his pants and he drinks and smokes. He seemed really nice but I don't know him at all and he probably just did that to try and get me to be his next victim.

I don't know much about Austin Mahone but one thing I do know is I'm not falling under his spell.............
