Andy's POV
Serena is out of the hospital and Prom is just a week away, I stared at Serena who was now sitting in her chair. She seemed to be doodling something in her sketchbook, but soon put it away when the bell rang. I got up and went to her and got hold of her skinny arm gently, she turned around and those beautiful blue green eyes that I fell in love with looked at me. "yes?" she squeaked "oh uh hey um do you want to possibly go to uh Prom with me?" I asked, rubbing the back of my neck and hoping she'll say yes. She bit her lip, and looked down "that's really sweet but I'm not sure my parents wants you around me" she said and hugged her books close to her chest, I huffed out and nod my head and left. "wait" she said, I turned around and she came towards me with a piece of paper "come by and try to ask my parents" she said and I took the paper, I looked at it and it was her address. I smiled and rode my motorcycle home and waited a few hours. I got on my motorcycle and covered myself good since it started to rain, I drove to her house and I got up and rang her doorbell. Her dad answered.
Serena's POV
I was in my room playing a sweet melody on my guitar until I heard the door bell rang. I set my guitar down and went downstairs to see Andy at the door and my dad there to. "Mr. Chavira sir, I was wondering if I could have permission to take your daughter to Prom with me?" he said in a sweet voice, dad just looked at Andy and spoke coldly "I'm not sure I could let you around my daughter" I went closer and saw that Andy was standing in the freaking rang, asking for my dad's permission to take me to Prom. Mom came to the door and saw Andy, "oh son you must be freezing?" she said and ran to get a towel and came back and had let Andy in, she always had a caring heart. Andy saw me and gave me a sweet smile that made me blush. Mom sat Andy on a kitchen chair "would you like some hot cocoa?" she asked, he shook his head "no ma'am, I'm only here for one thing" he said, and mom turned her head "and that is?" she asked "permission to take Serena to Prom" he replied, mom awe "hun I think we should give him permission, he was standing in the rain and had asked for permission, he was asking for our permission with manners" mom said and dad shook his head "ok you have permission, but if I see you step out of line your chance is gone" dad said and Andy smiled, I ran to Andy and hugged him and he kissed my cheek which only made me blush, mom giggle with joy and dad huffed out and went to the living room.
