Chapter 2 ☆

  After Kate and I hung out at the shop for awhile, saying terrible puns and talking to Lucas we decided we wanted to go to the local park.

"See ya later bro." I say to Lucas while opening the shop door.

"Byee~!" Kate said while she smiled sweetly to Lucas and followed behind me.

We walked out the shop and I took out my phone.

"Wanna listen to some music?" I asked looking up at her.

"Sure~."

I looked back down at my phone and turned it on, sadly I forgot something, Kate was my lockscreen. It was a picture I had taken of her when we had went to see the cherry blossoms last year.

"Shit." I thought, I could see Kate in the corner of my eye, looking down at my phone.

I heard her giggle. "Is that me?"

"Maybe.."

"Aww! that's a great photo of me, can you send it to me?" she gave me one of her adorable smiles and I could feel my face turning red.

"Uhh, yeah, sure.." I said flustered.

"Where'd you get that amazing photo of me?" She questioned.

"Remember last year? When we went to see the cherry blossoms?"

"Yep~."

"Well, one random moment you were standing in front of one of the trees, admiring it, and you looked stunning so, I snapped a photo.." I explained.

"You think I look stunning?" She paused and looked up at me.

I stopped and nervously smiled. "Y-yeah.."

Her face turned a bright red and looked down. "T-thank you."

"Haha, no problem love~."

It was quiet as we continued to walk.

"This is so awkward.." I thought. "I wanna break the silence."

I glanced up and looked back down to see if she was looking at me. But, she wasn't beside me, I turned around and there she was, a couple inches behind me. Her face was pale, like she was panicking or something. I tilted my head to the side and looked in the direction she was looking in.
