As we reach Arden's front porch I start to get nervous.
Why the hell am I nervous? I'm just hanging out with Arden like we use to do I shouldn't be nervous about that.
She's the only girl that makes me nervous. I'm usually the one to make girls nervous by just glancing at them. Samantha hasn't even made me nervous in all of the 3 1/2 years we've been so called "dating".  I think the only reason I've been dating her is because her family is loaded and I get free stuff. Arden is way better than her though, why'd I have to go and mess things up between us? I'm happy she's at least giving me a chance
   As I start to come back to reality I realize Arden is punching my arm
" I thought you died with your eyes open for a second" Arden says after she finishes punching me.
"Well if you did loose me you'd probably cry for years" I say trying to stay cool. " No I'd get over it in like a second there's more fish in the sea" she says shrugging her shoulders. "Damn Ardy, that hurts"
" Anymore nicknames you have for me Franco?"
" I can't think of any at the moment but there will be more in the future"
" Whatever" she says moving over to the couch from her position at the island in the kitchen. I assume she wants me to follow so I do.
"So, are we going to do homework or talk about me being dead?"
"All of our homework is due Friday, so I don't really feel like wasting my Monday afternoon. I'm going to take up your offer on getting to know the new us"
"You told me you wanted to come to your house to do homework and now we aren't going to do homework?" I say a little confused, but not really caring because I wasn't going to do the homework anyways
"Um,Yup" she says while nodding her head. I watch as her curls go up and down. I like how she keeps her hair curly it's very unique no one else has their hair like that in this town.
" Wanna play 20 questions then?"
" How did I know that the Freak would want to play 20 questions with me?" Arden says in a sarcastic tone
"Well idk how would you have known that the freak would want to play 20 questions with you? ps I don't like being called a freak" I say back the same way she said it to me
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to it just came out" Arden says shaking her head which makes her curls bounce even more which I happen to love.
" It's fine, I guess I'll start the game. What's your favorite color?"
"I thought you would know this. Any type of blue. What's yours?"
"Green, what do you want to be when you grow up?"
"A surgeon, how about you?"
"A actor"
"Wait you want to be an actor?" Arden says while starting to giggle
" I never really told anyone that,but I trust you so I told you it. I don't think I will be though I suck"
"Well Edward I think you'd be a splendid actor just don't forget about me when you make it big" she throws in a eyebrow raise, that I find adorable.
"I won't, I'll take you with me and I think you fit being a model more than a surgeon"
"Hell nah, being a model means that I would have to practically starve myself and drink green juices all day I'm good"
"I forgot that you love to eat,babe" she somehow eats a lot but never gains wait it fascinates me.
"Shouldn't be calling me babe you should be calling Samantha babe"
"You're more my babe than she is. She's been sleeping around with every guy in school" I say not really caring about Samantha at this point
"Well Franco, its 7:30 and my parents will be home soon and you know they don't like you so you should leave"
"Wow just kicking me out like that I'm offended"
"Sorry babe but you gots to go" I smirk at the fact she called me babe and it makes me think that we will actually start hanging out again
"Fine I'll leave but you have to answer me one question"
"Okay what is it?"
"Will you come to my party this weekend? My parents are going to be gone and I'm inviting the whole senior class over and you never come to my parties so pleaseeeeeeeeee"
" I'll think about it and I'll text you" she says pushing me out the door and closing it.

Soon after I get home I get a text

A: Yes, I will attend your party

J: As a plus one or just as a guest?

A: Plus one, I wanna make Samantha jealous

J: It's a date then can't wait ;)

A: That winky face makes me uncomfortable

A: Ughhhhhhhhhh goodnight James

authors note : new year,new author I swear I'll start updating my books this year. how'd you guys like this chapter? it's a little short but I should be sleeping since I have to wake up in 4 hours for school
