Barrett's POV

I wake up once again this time in a different with empty medical beds. I look around the room and I see mercy running some tests or something with another soldier. Once she is finished she walk's over to me with a sweet smile and she sat down next to me "so, how are yoy feeling?" She asked me. I shrug "I feel... a little different" I say being completely honest. She nodded "and there is good reason for that. She gently pulled the blanket off of me, revealing my robotic legs. I'm shocked, but also kinda happy, if it wasn't for mercy doing this to me, I wouldn't be able to walk ever again. I look at her and smiled wide "thank you, thank you so much mercy" I say and gently hug her. She smiled and chuckled "you can call me, Angela" she said. This was the first time someone who wasn't in blackwatch talked to Me. For the 5 years I've been here I finally feel welcome, like this is finally my home. "Now it is going to take some getting used to" she said to me then helped me stand up. I focus hard and try my best to walk around slowly without falling. It's like when I first learned to walk. It feels the same to me but I'm so much older then when I first learned to walk. Angela looked at me "good, take slow steps" I say. I'm smiling like and idiot now and I'm sure everyone else in the room is staring at me. But I don't care, I couldn't be more happy and thankful.
