The skeletons started to line up across the room.
It was different to the one before. It was bigger and more light could bounce around the room.
Daimen looked at the sword in his hands. He mainly had fighter classes. For the classes given. They would usually have a point system for what moves could be done.
Like mana points was used for spells.
And power points for special attacks.
Skills were a different matter as they didnt consume any MP or PP, but they do have a limit to how many uses per day.
Daimen raised his sword. And tried to concentrate. In the game, one usually used the console to actively use skills and special moves. However that wasn't available right now.
But he did feel something. Like there was a power that was inside him. Waiting to be released. He just reached level 100 before he stopped playing. So he should contain all of his abilities.
He then focused. And felt a sort of tug. Then he swung his sword and shouted.
"《Aura slash》"
And with a swing. A slash of light went across the room and eliminated the skeletons lined up across the room. The echoes of bones splintering could be heard.
A clapping could be heard. It was Vergil.
"Excellent my lord. However, why did you use such a low class attack for a test?"
"I needed to see if it still worked. You see, something is different. And i have gathered the other Plane Rulers to gather here to discuss this."
"The others are coming? I see. This must be a serious matter then."
Just as Vergil finished speaking. A beautiful woman walked into the room. She was stunning. Almost enticing to look at. As if the longer you look the more you cant look away. Her black hair swept back. The fabric she was wearing looked expensive and old fashion. Like the ones nobles women would wear to dances.
"My, am i the first?"
Her voice. Which sounded like honey. Could entrance anyone. Make even the most hardened men crumble.
She was the 2nd Plane Ruler. The Enchantress Sylvia.
She was human, however her abilities and classes gave her the ability to mind control enemies and even summon powerful minions.
She noticed Daimen, she gave a bow and lifted the hem of her dress.
"My greetings lord Daimen, it is lovely to see your handsome features again."
Daimen smiled. Although it was a little forced. He has never had his looks complicated before. And it was to his game avatar. So it didn't really feel like the compliment had any weight to it.
"Sylvia, i wouldnt recommend getting close to lord Daimen on a summoned meeting."
The next voice was gruffer. But seemed almost amused.
Daimen looked up and saw another person walk through. He looked human as well. He had a clean shaven face. And a set jawline. He wore a fine dark shirt. And dark long pants. He wore a cloak over his shoulders.
6th Plane Ruler, The Nephilim Kira.
He stopped next to Sylvia and bowed towards Daimen. He then straightend and said nothing. It was obvious he was not the kind for small talk.
It wasn't long till the last two came along.
One was a 2 meter tall giant that was made out of platinum.
1st Plane Ruler. The Golem Aequitas.
Another was a beastmen. It wore a bronze breastplate against his dark fur. His muscles bulging. His head was that of a doberman. Drool was leaking from the sides of his mouth.
4th Plane Ruler Fenris
They stepped out from the doorway. Fenris shivered. Which was impressive due to his size.
"Smell of death is strong here. And the bug man isnt helping."
Fenris more growled than talked.
Vergil clicked in displeasure.
"This bug man is right here. Also its my home."
"Oh, Didnt see you there. And how do you call a graveyard a home?"
Vergil reached for his katana
"Enough. Everyone is almost here and I would not like a fight to break out in my presence."
They stopped glaring at each other and quickly returned to normal.
"My apologies lord Daimen."
"Sorry boss."
It was hard to tell their facial features because they weren't human. But Daimen could tell their intentions were sorry.
Daimen sighed.
"Its alright. Now we are waiting for Karma and Judgment."
"You summoned me lord Daimen?"
Karma stepped out into the light. The shadows seemed to cling to him. seeming desperate to not let go. His horns seemed menacing. His hair glistened in the light. His dark suit seemed to fit the darkness he came from.
"Glad you could make it Karma. Well it seems Judgment is taking a while. So i might as well get started. There seems to be a situation that seems to have happened. Im can't tell you what it is. So i have sent Karma and Judgment to check the Guild. Karma. Was anything out of place during your investigation?"
"Nothing was out of place from my position. Everyone was following the protocols we were given since our creation."
Despite the fact you're able to talk!
"Very good."
Daimen spotted Judgment in the corner. She bowed. Then walked over next to karma.
"Judgment. What was your observation of the outside."
She seemed worried.
"My lord. There seems to be a problem. The heavenly planes that Orises is built upon is nowhere to be seen."
Daimen thought about this new information. This was troublesome.
"Could you describe the suroundings around Orises?"
"Yes. It seems that Orises is stationed on top of a mountain. The first 5 kilometers were hills. Then after that was grasslands in every corner."
"Could you find any living creatures"
"None that i am aware of."
Daimen stroked his chin. So they were in an unknown land. From what it sounds like. They were still in the holy universe. However they were what seems to be on a sentient planet.
"This is quite troublesome."
He then relised that all of the Plane Rulers were looking at him. As if he had orders to fit the situation.
His mind worked frantically. What would happen if he didn't give the right orders?
"Plane Rulers. Until we know more about the current situation, I would need every one of you to set everyone on alert. Tighten security and make sure you have everyone do checks. We cannot allow any failures at this time."
"Yes!"
They all said in union.
"Now then, I must be off. I expect everything to be in order."
Daimen teleported back into the hall of trial. The artificial sun was faded. Like a sunset.
What am i going to do?
