A/N: Hey everyone!! Yaaaay just over 500 reads!! Thank you all so much!! some people have been telling me that my story needs work and it's not very original but it is still the beginning so for those of you who are dedicated to reading this i guarantee you that you won't be disappointed. i hope to be adding chapter 10 very soon and not keep you waiting too much longer but there will be a couple of filler chapters.

LIAM’S POV
“Hey Charlie I’m starving. You want to grab some grub?” I called Charlie not wanting to sit at home tonight. Kat is out on her “date” and I need a distraction.
“Sure Mate, want me to ring Nick too? He’s free tonight.”
“Yeah let’s do this. Meet me at mine in 30.” I say hanging up to jump into the shower.
I let the water run until it was nice and hot, just the way I like it. I shampoo my hair and stand under the showerhead with my eyes closed trying to relax, but I just can’t. Maybe going out with the lads will help. I can’t deny that my feelings for Kat have gone from infatuation to… I don’t know what this really is but I might be falling for her. The fact that she’s out on this date tonight and it’s with Niall and not me really bothers me. In the back of my mind I know that my past would get in the middle of everything and I don’t want her to be hurt. I can’t tell her how I feel. I have to take a back seat on this one and let her be happy. If she really likes this bloke then I have to make sure that he’s trustworthy and let him know where I stand. Not the part about wanting Kat for myself but the part where I’m not going anywhere and I will be the one to protect Kat at all costs.
Slipping on my shoes I hear a knock at the door, “Its open lads!” and in come Charlie and Nick. Fuck Nick looks like shit, I wonder what’s wrong.
“Hey Mates where are we going for dinner? I personally don’t care as long as it’s not Italian. I’m tired of Italian.” I say as I make my way over to Nick. I put my arm around his shoulder and pull him with me.
“Nick are you alright? You look like you just lost your girlfriend.” I laugh.
“I did. Jaz broke up with me. She bloody said it just wasn’t working for us.”
“Did she find out about the others? I mean what, why? I don’t get it.” I can’t believe it.
“Turns out she isn’t into guys, I was the first guy she’d ever been with and she figured that I would make her like guys but she just realized that she prefers birds instead. I asked her if maybe we can still fool around, that I’d even bring a girl to make us both happy but she just laughed and kissed my cheek.”
“Bloody hell Nick! You turned her lesbo? No wonder there’s less and less birds around campus. You’ve frightened them all away.” Charlie laughs and Nick gets up to beat the shit out of him but I pull him back.
“Mates this is ridiculous. It’s Saturday night and we’re all here just sulking. The frat is having a party, what do you say? Shall we attend it?” I want to cheer Nick up.
“Beer, loud music and drunk girls?!?!?! HELL YES WE’RE GOING!!!” Charlie decides for us.
We pull up to the frat and as usual it’s wall to wall drunk Uni students. Some are strewn across the cold damp lawn in the front, some are stumbling down the stairs while holding on to each other. The music is so loud, I’m not even inside yet but I feel the bass pumping throughout my entire body. Charlie looks over to Nick and me shaking his head in approval, why did I fucking agree to this? I don’t want to be here but I’ll do it for Nick. We walk into the building and the stench of cigarettes and alcohol hits me like a tidal wave and I push back the urge to vomit. I see a lot of people I haven’t hung out with in a long time and don’t really miss. You know who I miss? Yeah Kat.
