Serena's POV

When Ash carried me through the door, Clement and Bonnie rushed over to us worriedly.
"Where have you been? What happened? Why are you soaked?" Clement asked Ash and I.
"Calm down Cement! They can answer your questions later!" Bonnie shouted as she grabbed my hand.

Bonnie pulled me into my room and said,
"Serena? You need to shower! You smell like fish and seawater!" Bonnie said disgusted.
"Ha ha! Ok, I'll shower, picky." I said playfully as Bonnie smiled.

I headed to the bathroom, just down the hall and closed the door. As I was showering, I heard the door open and close quickly. I peeked through the shower curtains but no one was there. When I got out of the shower, I realized my hat was gone!

I started frantically searching for my hat until I went in my bedroom and found it lying on my bed.
"How'd my hat get on my bed?" I asked myself as I lifted my Hat up to find a note on my bed.

"Meet me at midnight on the cliff by the tree. - Ash"
"Ash is asking me to meet him at midnight? Eeee! I wonder what he's going to tell me!" I thought to myself. "What should I wear? I need to look good!" I thought worriedly.

I went over to my dresser and found a cute blue dress that would match perfectly with the ribbon Ash gave me when we went to the shopping center. I completely forgot about eating and just waited patiently in my room until midnight.

As soon as the clock struck midnight I peeked my head out of my door to see if anyone was still up. I didn't see anyone so I slipped my shoes on and tiptoed out the door. I began drumming up the nearby hill, past the trees and up to the lonely Sakura tree by the edge of the cliff.

As I sat down on the long grass and looked out at the ocean, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around quickly to see Fennekin walking over. I pulled Fennekin into my arms and hugged her was we watched the moon rise.

After awhile, I began to wonder if Ash was even coming. I had forgotten my jacket at the house so I couldn't be out in the cold forever. I waited a little bit longer until I heard footsteps.
"Ash!" I said happily. I heard no reply, but I could tell whoever it was was coming closer.
"Ash?" I asked. I still heard no reply.

I took a step back and stumbled over one of the roots of the Sakura tree. I shuffled backwards as they came closer. "Hello?" I asked. They came closer and I closed my eyes, afraid of who it might be if it wasn't Ash. Their footsteps became louder and louder until they stopped. I curled up into a ball and waited for them to say something.
