I Feel The Same...

Third POV

After their meeting with the people that wanted to meet them, they took off in a train, that soon set to go to the capitol. They both knew only one could survive but they wanted to be remembered. Remembered to everyone that District 12 can be winners. 

Thats when Simon and David both sat down on the chair in the living room. The train inside was huge and it was spacey, much to their surprise. Thats when they finally met their mentor. 

After about an hour, Simon and David was talking to their mentor, who had light brown hair along with hazel eyes that seems to glisten like stars. He wasn't as... poofy as the Capitol people but at times he can be a bit... aggressive. 

"So thats why at the beginning, you guys run... you run far away from them okay? Don't get lured into the loot in the tent. Its too dangerous" The man said. 

"What happen if we need food? We need something to be able to survive in the arena we're gonna be put in..." David mumbled slightly. 

"Just look for a water source... it will have fish and I heard you're pretty good with crafting equipment with wood. Make something." 

David nodded his head as Simon asked him a question. 

"Can we see the people of each district? Or do we have to wait?" 

"We can do it now... I'll set it up" Thats when the man put a flat, metal disk on the table when all of a sudden, a blue realistic hologram shows up showing a number of each district. Number 1, Number 2 etc... Thats when Stephen came out of nowhere. 

"So Decky, how is the mentoring of the people?" Chuckled Stephen. 

"How many times have I told you... Its Declan. Declan Donelly. Or even Dec. Not Decky" Dec Said in a stern voice. 

"Ooh Cheeky" Giggled Stephen as he exited into the kitchen.

"Wanna keep going?" Dec said clearly exhausted. 

"Yea lets do it" Yawned Simon.

"Okay so this..." Dec points at District 1 and 2, which showed 1 boy and 1 girl in each district. 

"Are the careers. Don't go near them and don't talk to them" Dec said as he emphasised the few last words. 

"If you do, don't be surprised if they gang up on you" 

They all continued talking with the other districts when they finally came to district 11. 

"These girls are Alesha and Amanda. They know how to harvest and they know whats good and bad. They can be a target but just leave them till last" 

David POV

I was looking at the Alesha girl and I just couldn't take my eyes of her...

"David" I heard Simon say.

I snapped back to reality as I looked at Dec and Simon, who looked annoyed as they told me they repeated my name at least 5 times. 

"I-im sorry guys..." 

"David..." Dec looked at me as he looked at the picture of Alesha. 

"You like her don't you?" 

I didn't know what to say. Yes, she is pretty but... Im gonna be going up against her. I can't just crush on the Alesha girl. 

"O-of course not. Why would you guys think that?" I lied back reluctantly. 

"Don't act dumb David. I know you like her" Simon said back instantly. I was getting annoyed.

"Well look whose talking! Says the guy who was drooling over that blonde girl" I shot back.

"Her name is Amanda. And yes! I may be drooling but at least I just don't kiss people who likes me!" Simon grunted angrily. 

Thats when Dec voice ascended into our heated argument. 

"Stop it! You two! I know you both like these girls okay?" Dec said softly at the last bit as me and Simon looked depressed. 

"But we can't..." I murmured melancholy. 

Thats when Dec seem to have a lightbulb moment. 

"I have an idea... I need to talk to Stephen" Thats when Dec got up and walked over to the next room, which was the kitchen. 

It was awkward with the atmosphere of me and Simon. Why are we fighting? We never do that. Maybe its just the pressure thats getting us about the Games. 

"I like Amanda, David... I don't know what to do" Simon cried quietly. 

"Don't worry..." I looked at the girls on the hologram especially Alesha. 

"I feel the same for Alesha..."
