"Stop it! Do you realize how annoying that is?" I looked down and noticed my knees bouncing up and down.

"Sorry but I need to keep myself busy." I explained to Harry, annoyed beyond belief.

"Well do something else. Your tapping doesn't help anyone stay calm." I frowned, getting up from the waiting room and walking outside of the hospital. I forgot how cold Bristol was. We only visited for a couple days on a tour and mostly stayed inside the hotel.

Keeping telling yourself that

"Whatever." I mumbled, making my way over to the bench near to the entrance.

"Hey buddy." Zayn walked up, locking his car and making his way over to the bench I was on.

"Hey." My smile weakening the more I tried to force it.

"How's Alyson?"

"Still unconscious. They put her in a chemically induced coma because her brain showed instability but it's been almost three weeks since she's been out. How much longer?" I looked over at Zayn who looked as lost as me.

"All I know is...you're being selfish." My eyes snapped up to him and I straightened from my hunched position.

"Selfish?"

"You only met this girl, what, a month ago?" I nodded, gesturing for him to continue on.

"Jai is her brother. You don't think he's worried?"

"I understand he's wor-"

"No, you don't understand. What if Lottie or Fizzy or any of your sisters were in Aly's position and there was some guy you just met that was in love with her. What would you do?"

"I'm not in love with Aly."

"Just answer the question." He scolded.

"I, I would probably...I don't know." I tried racking my brain. There were endless possibilities and I didn't want to be the guy in any of them.

"Go inside and be with everyone. A distraction from the sadness around them." He smiled warmly at me before leading us both back into the hospital.

"Since when did you start giving good advice?" I chuckled lightly.

"Looks like Perrie's rubbing off on me." As we walked in, we noticed Niall and Harry were asleep, taking up at least three of the chairs in the waiting room, each, while Liam was talking to Jai. A blonde lady was sitting next to Jai with her hand on his knee and a tissue box in her lap.

"Hey guys." Zayn spoke up, getting everyone's attention.

"Hey." Liam smiled. Jai looked up and then looked back at his lap with his hands folded. Liam stood up and walked over to us.

"That's Hannah, Aly's sister."

"Jai has two sisters?"

"Yeah. She heard about Aly's state and came over."
