Y/N POV
"Y/N wake up."
This nap I'm taking is too good to wake up from. Although this stinging sensation I have in my left bicep is bothering me a little I think I can manage. My wedding day was supposed to be perfect but Normani had to ruin it. Those so called security guards are gonna get cussed out when I wake up from this nap.
"Y/N wake up." Morgan said.
I slowly opened one of my eyes and saw half of my family standing by my bedside. I went to scratch my left arm and felt that there was some kind of bandage wrapped around it.
"What happened to my arm?" I asked.
"Normani shot you after she shot Veronica." Mama Drea said.
"Where's Veronica? Is she okay? Where is she? Where is my baby?" I asked.
"Y/N calm down she's right next door." Morgan said.
Morgan walked over to the curtain that divided the room in half and pulled it back. Veronica was sitting up in her bed watching tv as if everything was cool. With Morgan and JP's help I got out of bed and walked over to Veronica's bedside. I couldn't stand up long so I sat down in the nearest chair. I specifically remember Veronica taking a bullet to the chest but Veronica's right shoulder was the only thing with a bandage on it.
"Baby how are you feeling?" I asked.
"My shoulder hurt but I'll be fine. I was just worried to death about you." Veronica said.
"I'm a lot better knowing that you're alright. I thought I lost you for a minute. I'm sorry that you didn't get the wedding day of your dreams princess. But I'll make it up to you though. We can do this all over again just smaller. Maybe at the house with our families there and that's it." I said.
"Y/N it doesn't matter how we get married, as long as we get married I'm okay. I'll even marry you in this hospital room right now." Veronica said.
"If that's what you want to do princess I'm cool with it." I said.
"Seriously?" Veronica asked.
"Yes. I'm serious." I said.
"I'll go get the pastor." Ethan said.
Morgan took off her blazer and helped me put it on. Ethan gave me the comb he had in his pocket. I went into the bathroom and combed my hair to make it look decent enough for the pictures. If I had a bottle of hairspray I'd be a lot better, but I'm doing the best I can with what I have. I came out of the bathroom and Lauren was helping Veronica with her hair. I thought Lauren was gonna send me to the bathroom because she didn't want me to see Veronica just yet but he left me stay.
"You ready to get married Y/N?" Dinah asked.
"I've been ready." I said.
Mama Drea was sitting in the corner with Nicholas in her lap. I don't know how Nicholas was able to sleep with all of the talking going on in the room but it didn't bother him one bit. My mom and dad came in with the twins and they were wide awake. Everyone was here now we were waiting on Ethan to come back with the pastor. Finally Ethan came back with the pastor and we were ready to get started.
"Dearly beloved we have gathered here today to join these wonderful individuals in holy matrimony. I've seen first hand how much these two love each other. They've been faced with all kinds of adversity yet through it all, they stay together. That just goes to show that love conquers all..."
"Amen pastor." Mama Drea said.
"Is there anyone who can give just cause as to why these two shouldn't be wed speak now or forever hold your peace."
