" when do you want me to pick her up ? " i handed over her bag

" Sunday or Monday I guess " he shrugged looking over at her

" you really have to watch her she's very adventurous "

"You got it .. " he paused for a second obviously with something on his chest " aye I gotta tell you something "

" tell away " I looked at him

" i still miss you and you know I still love you Lee , I know there might never be a second chance with you but I do wanna go back to how things were when we were younger when you were my best friend " he sighed

" uhh" i said swallowing the huge lump that was forming in my throat how do I respond to that ?

"you don't have to say anything i just wanted you to know that ... i'll see you later"

" i .. okay " i walked out side to the car tiani and ray were still in the back seat

" you ok you look off " ray questioned when I got back in the car

" im fine .. nothing " i strapped myself in i checked my face book as prince drove off soon As I got on the first status I saw was a recent one by roc

my eyes rolled back and I let out a sigh i exited outta facebook then locked my phone I threw my head back running my hand threw my hair I was so emotionally drained prince slipped his fingers threw mine easily as he continued driving

" we'll talk when we get home " he whispered i nodded slightly laying my head against the window about 15 minutes later we where in front of tia's house

"Baby we here " i heard ray whisper to tia

"thanks for the ride i'll see you in the studio tomorrow bro" he said giving prince dap

" yea man "

" bye liya " ray said he picked up tia holding her bridal style i guess that fight wore her out

"mhm" i muttered with my head still on the window all these thoughts were beginning to give me a migraine he pulled up to a dead end pushed his seat back then slid me over into his lap

" ok what's wrong with my baby  " he slid his hands down my waist and wrapped them around me a look of concern flashed over his face

" everything is wrong with today finding out your baby father still has feelings for you is nothing but to find out he still loves you after what he did to can put you in a whole other thought space " i ran my hand threw his afro sighing

" what happened to jaylen ? " he licked his lips after his reply from the way I was running my hand threw his hair

" that's what im trying to figure out I'm just .. confused " he kissed my neck gently

" i think you should talk to him " he said looking at me .. Please tell me this is not happening

"what" i asked really lowly I heard him but I wasn't trying to comprehend what he said

" you should talk to him kiara is his daughter at the end of the day and he should have that fair change so you and him should talk just know if anything happens im always here for you just like old times you'll always be my best friend and it'll always be that way " I felt my eyes tear up But I couldn't cry I'd done so much crying this entire week

" ok" i said my voice more than a little uneasy

" i love you laliya " he held my face wiping the tears that managed to betray me and fall

" i love you too Jacob" i gave him one last kiss and slid back into my seat placing my head on the window again after about 15 minutes we were in front of my house by then the migraine was persistent I just wanted to sleep the day off

"bye liya" he hugged me tightly I returned the same gesture

" bye bestie" i smiled it off and got out the car walking into the house

time: 6:15 pm

" so what you wanna do baby girl " i asked sitting her down on my lap

" i want you and mommy to be together" she said folding her hands across her lap that one caught me off guard

" you know mommy is with someone and daddy is with somebody " I tried to explain as best I could to a four year old

" but what about me ?" she pouted

" we'll fix that i promise " i smiled watching her eyes light up

" roc" jay came in

" yea " I looked up

" i need to talk to you" she was twisting her charm bracelet around

" do daddy a favor and go upstairs real quick and put on a movie for us " she nodded excitedly

" okay" she jumped down from my lap and grabbed her bag rushing up the stairs

" what happned " she sat next to me

" i might've heard some of your conversation with kiara "

" what about it " i scratched the back of my neck

" are you really happy with me " she looked at me

" yeah why would I lie about that " I looked back at her so she would know I wasn't lying

" ok.. do you wanna be with laliya " i scratched the back of my neck once again before rubbing my hand across my face

" i don't know " I was being honest what I had with liya never went away

" if you want to then you should yall have a kid together so it was kind of expected and I'll be dammed if I'm the reason why my niece isn't happy so its ok I want you guys to figure it out whatever it is " i sighed I wasn't sure how to go about this anymore

" im sorry " i replied

" don't be it's ok I knew it was bound to Happen " she kissed me " bye chres tell kiki i said I'll see her soon and regardless i'm still going to love you all the same and I'm always going to be there for you  "

" bye and you know i'll always have love for you to " she smiled making me give her a small smirk back and walked out the house i fell back on the couch with my leg on the couch and one off

" this shit did not just happen" i said out loud rubbing my hand over my face

" daddy , come watch SpongeBob with me my favorite episode is on " she ran down the stairs grabbing my hand pulling me up the stairs smiling every time I see that smile I always feel a way knowing that I walked away from this from her knowing that I didn't get to see the first time she smiled like that .. my smile
