It was my phone that woke me from my semi-coma. I forcefully opened my eyes, my eyelids heavily pushing themselves back down. I reached over for my phone and read the three texts. School, Harry, Niall...

Unannounced, unauthorized absence occured on Monday. Please send verification of absence by Tuesday.

Abby! Why aren't you answering my texts and calls! Talk to me babe. Please. -Harry xx

Hey babe. Why'd you walk out like that last night? Meet me at the park tonight at 7. Be there or else - Niall.

You know what? I've had enough of people bossing me around like I'm a peice of crap on the floor. I'll have to tell Niall straight, or tell Harry... Who am I kidding, I can't tell Harry! That would be my life ruined! And all this over a stupid bet for money.

Only then did I actually look at the clock. 11:00am. So I've basically missed school. I guess I'll just have to go for a walk of something. I threw the covers off my body and walked over to my wardrobe.

I decided to wear a flowing black crop top and denim shorts, with a leather jacket over the top. I put some black stud converse on and did my make up with some foundation, lip gloss, eyeliner, mascara and black eye shadow. Sighing, I grabbed my black backpack and made my way downstairs.

I huffed and barged through my front door. Harry was walking aimlessly on the pavement across from me.

"Shit," I cursed, instantly scanning the area for a bush to dive into. Or, preferably just somewhere to hide and avoid his gaze. Nowhere. Not one damn place suitable. Instead, another ingenious plan shot into my head, so I ducked.

I must've of looked the biggest idiot alive when Harry glanced over at me.

So, casually I pretended to tie my shoelaces. Again, genious.

"Abby!" He shouted, lifting his head properly to get a good look at my appearance. He came skipping across the road and thrust my rusty gate open as if it was feather weight. I straightened my back properly, to be greeted by two large arms wrapping themselves around my waist.

"Hey," I simlpy stated, furrowing my eyebrows as if I were confused by his sudden action.

"Why haven't you been answering your phone? Why have you been ignoring me? Why aren't you in school? What did I do?" He shot the questions at me a nanosecond apart. I gasped in fake shock and a smirk came over my face. A fake smile; of course.

"One; it, erm, wasn't charging. Two; I totally haven't, honest Harry. Three; I could ask you the same question! I always knew we would be bunking buddies! Four; Well, one two and three answered that one so I won't bother boring you with technal difficulties and the logic of the charger. Is there a fifth or do I have permission to breathe?" I smiled innocently at him and pouted a little. He shook his head before sighing heavily, then matching my smile with a smirk.

"Want to come over my place?" He questioned, the depth of his green eyes overwhelming me with joy and confusion all at the same time.

"Oh, cool! We can study for our science exam!" I cheered sarcastically, tugging his arm and skipping my way to his house, with him on close trail.

In all honesty, I just needed a little breathing space to work stuff out.
