oops, I overslept

( Eren's pov )

I woke up to my annoying alarm clock and groaned in annoyance. I put my hand on the bed side table and tried to find my alarm clock. I felt something rectangular and punched it and the noise stopped. I slowly got up and stepped on the cold,smooth floor.

I went to the bathroom and showered, brushed my hair and went downstairs to the kitchen and saw my adopted sister cooking some bacon and eggs.

Mikasa : good morning Eren
Me : morning Mikasa

I got some bread and put it in the toaster.

Me : you want some Mikasa ?
Mikasa : yes please

I prepared another pair for Mikasa and waited for the toast to pop out ( that's how my toaster works, anyways ...).

Mikasa : hey Eren
Me : yeah?
Mikasa : I heard you captured that serial killer, Levi Ackerman
Me : yeah
Mikasa : are you the one who's going to take care of him?
Me : no I'm not
Mikasa : then who is ?
Me : ( y-y/n)....

There was a moment of silence between us. I knew why she was asking and why she was curious, my mum died becouse of that Ackerman. She knows how much I'm seeking revenge for my mum but to be honest, I want (y/n) to be safe since she's the one who's taking care of him. I don't want to lose someone else who I care about.

The toast popped out of the toaster. I put in Mikasa's pair and buttered my toast. My bacon and eggs were done and I started eating as fast as I could.

When I finished I went back upstairs to my room and changed into some jeans, a blue top and my favourite blue sneakers and headed out to my car and drove to work.

When I arrived I didn't see (y/n)'s car which usually comes before me. I was getting a little bit worried. I shook the thought off and parked my car and tried to call her,but she didn't answer. I tried a few more times but she still didn't answer,so I left her a few texts.

I entered the building with worries eating me up about what could have possibly happened to her. I put on my white lab coat and card and went to my patients room with her food, pill and some water.

I slid the card and entered the room. I saw my patient on the bed waiting. I sat in the chair next to her bed (she has a chair next to her becouse she's stable to be free from the chains for a bit of time)

( I don't know who is gonna be Eren's patient, give her a name you would like, I would have done Hanji since she really needs to be put a mental hospital but I'm using her for something else...😆)

(E/p/n) stands for Eren's patient name. I'll leave it up to you guys.

(E/p/n) : good morning Eren
Me : Good morning

She tilted her head.

(E/p/n) : what's wrong Eren ?
Me : oh nothing is wrong?

She crossed her arms.

(E/p/n) : I know you're hiding something that's bothering you,so tell me?
Me : it's nothing you need to worry about its just something personal...
(E/p/n) : today I'll let you be but if tomorrow I see that you're not the usual you I will annoy you till you tell me the whole story. Deal ?
Me : deal

I said shaking her hand. She giggled and I smiled and after some time she had ate everything and swallowed her pill. It was time for me to go out. I passed Levi's door and glared at the monster that could be inside, the monster that killed my mum and shattered my heart.

I gave the tray to the maids and as I was going up the elevator I heard a few people talking

'Did you hear?'
'What?'
'Mr Ackerman's nurse didn't show up this morning'
'Oh no I don't want to be the replacement '

Wait a minute. (Y/n) didn't show up today. No wonder her car wasn't parked before mine.

I opened the elevator and quickly rushed to my car and drove full speed to (y/n)'s house. As soon as I arrived I got out her key that she gave me just in case she forgets it or loses it and entered the house.

Me : (Y/N)!?

I went upstairs to check her room and as I opened the door I found a sound asleep (y/n). I looked at her sound face and covered her with the blanket since it was a bit cold and the window was open and kissed her forehead. I saw her moving a bit. I opened the curtains and let the light come in. She groaned in annoyance of the sunlight coming in her eyes. I chuckled at her reaction and went next to her ear.

Me : morning sleepy head...

(Your pov )

I opened my eyes to see Eren face so close to mine.

Me : what the hell are you doing here?
Eren : no thank you's for waking you up?
Me : what time is it ?
Eren : it's 10:30

Your eyes widened. You jumped out of bed and quickly went to the bathroom to wash your face with cold water to wake you up. Went downstairs and put the bread in the toaster whilst Eren came downstairs and hugged you from behind.

Eren : calm down (y/n). I'll take care of the toast,you go up and change ok?

You nodded and rushed yourself upstairs and chose an outfit to wear and quickly went to the bathroom to change. As soon as you were done you rushed down the stairs and at the very end you tripped, you closed your eyes knowing what's going to happen.

After a few seconds you realised you didn't hit anything. You slowly opened your eyes and saw Eren. He had caught you, he helped you up.

Eren : I told you to calm down. Now get your toast and eat it in the car.
Me : ok

You said blushing. You grabbed your delicious looking toast and as soon as you went in the car you gobbled it up. You heard laughing, you looked at where it was coming from and saw it was Eren.

Me : what's so funny?
Eren : you... gobbling up that piece of toast.

You blushed another shade of red

Me : shut up. What about how you eat ?
Eren : I guess we're equal

You both laughed and continued to drive to the mental hospital.
