#9: who's your favowite?

You were minding your own business on the floor in the living room, just doodling on your sketch book.

Sleeping on the sofa was Shu,and as usual, had his earbuds plugged in his ear. Subaru was just sitting by the window, staring outside and Ayato was sitting on a chair, doing tricks with his basketball.

You stretched your limbs after finishing your doodle " when will they be back?" you asked tiredly.

" Who knows. Kanato didn't tell where he went off to. Reiji had something important to do, and Laito probably picked up chicks"

you tilted your head to the side.

" what is Laito-nii going to do with baby chicks?"

Ayato laughed at your question that caused the two vampires to glance at the two of you because of the sudden noise. Shu grunted and shifted to a more comfortable position.

" by chicks, I mean, girls"

you knitted your brows in confusion. " why would he pick up girls?"

" because he's always h--"

" you're so noisy,  Ayato." Subaru grumbled.

" That's ore-sama for you. And if you're just going to complain, go to your room"

" hey, don't talk like that, Baka-chin!"

" you can't just order me around, pipsqueak!"

" you're a meanie!"

" so noisy..." Shu murmured.

" tadaima~" you saw Laito immediately, when you heard his voice. He went towards you and you sat up, He gave you a hug as a greeting. You two always did that, also when saying your goodbyes.

" why do you smell weird, Laito-nii?" he giggled.

" let's just say, your big brother did something weird.." he was smirking. Well, he's always smirking.

" what? I wanna know!" you whined.

" well....telling you is no fun, so, maybe I could show you!" he did an eye closed smile.

" I don't think that's a good idea." said Subaru, who was suddenly standing beside the two of you.

" heeh? then, maybe, I could show you" Laito smirked.

Subaru clenched his teeth. " hentai!"

" what's a hentai?" you asked, innocently.

your brothers got surprised by the sudden question, and everybody was quite amused, except for a white haired vampire who thought carefully on how to explain it to you.

" Laito is the definition of a hentai" Shu answered with a chuckle.

" I get that aweady! but what is a hentai? what does he do?" you whined.

" he watches people taki--"

" now, now, we wouldn't want (y/n)'s image of me to get stained. I am her closest brother after all..." Ayato got cut off by Laito.

" ha! you're the closest brother?!" Ayato laughed.

" (y/n) calls me without honorifics, I think that's intimate enough" Shu blurted.

there was silence.

" well....(y/n) tells me her secrets..." Subaru admitted.

" Subaru. She tells everyone her secrets." Laito stated, like it wasn't obvious enough.

Subaru's face fell slightly, he thought you treated him different. He thought he was special to you......well, he is,  but, it's just hard to keep a secret for you. Especially, when you're just a kid.

Everyone else turned to Ayato, who looked like he was thinking.

" we always fight, so..." he turned his head to the side, and played with his basketball.

" then, that means, I'm (y/n)'s closest  brother because we're always together!" Laito grinned in victory.

You watched them quarrel with a (●︿●) face all that time. Not actually knowing what to do.

where's Mama Reiji? we can't eat without him, he's the cook. And I'm hungry...you thought.

"--right, (y/n)?" you weren't paying attention, Laito asked something and you have no idea what.

" umm...I don't know what you're talking about."

" whose your favorite brother?"

" oh, it's--"

" I apologize for being late, I'll prepare dinner right away" Reiji stated in a hurry to the kitchen.

" Mama Reiji!" you stood up with joy and followed him to the kitchen, not realizing you left your sketch book. You can't wait to eat, so you'll help him.

Leaving the brothers staring at your small figure as you skipped away.

" so, who...?" Subaru asked.

" it's me of course" the vampires whipped their head towards the purple haired vampire clutching his Teddy who came out of nowhere. They raised a brow.

" hey, (y/n) left her sketch book" Ayato pointed to the book on the floor.

Laito picked it up, and smiled when he saw what you drew.

He showed it to everyone like a proud mom.

And they smiled at what they saw, too.
