#24: tantrums

" but Mama Reijiiiii! I don't want to goooo!" you retorted. Sinking to the floor and ready to thrash out your tantrum.

Reiji squinted for a moment, before adjusting his glasses. He looked down at you as you thrashed about on the floor. " y/n, you know it is father's orders"

You continued to whine.

Kanato was sitting on the sofa, watching you throw your tantrum. He wondered if he ever looked like you when he gets mad. Maybe you got this trait from him, and he chuckled.

" I'm home, imouto-chawn~" Laito greeted as he was about to go towards you and his cheery expression turned into one of surprise.

" areee? what's wrong imouto-chan? did Baka-chin hurt you again?" he said while going towards you to take you in his arms.

This calmed you down a little. " well...he did..but it's not that!"

" then what?"

" I DON'T WANNA GO TO SCHOOOOL~" you began to cry. Laito lifted up his head to look at Reiji. They shared a look and Reiji only sighed.

Laito chuckled at you.

" why don't you want to go to school?" Laito asked, in a kind of sing song voice.

You sniffed. " because...because you won't be there...none of you will be there..." tears continued to trail down your cheeks.

" aww, my poor imouto chan..." Laito pulled you into his chest for an embrace and swayed both of you.

" you can't disobey father's orders y/n." Reiji said in a firm tone. " I'll get your uniform and school paraphernalias ready for tomorrow." he stated simply and went on his way.

Kanato went towards the two and bent down. " you can take Teddy with you if you want. Teddy will take care of you for me" Kanato held Teddy with his one hand and looked like he's about to give it to you.

" NO! I mean, I'm fine Kana-chin, thank you..."

" eh? why not?" he furrowed his brows in confusion and tilted his head.

" because Teddy's yours, I don't want to steal Teddy from you!" you chuckled nervously.

Kanato still looked confused.

" imouto-chan, you don't have to be scared. You can meet lots of other people there...you can even meet your future boyfriend!" Laito joked, just to make light of the situation.

You hummed " Kou-sama's the only one for me" you knitted your brows and pouted. Your signature facial exprression.

Kanato and Laito suddenly reminisced. You did that expression a lot more when you were younger. Now, you've gotten older and you're going to school tomorrow. Who knows, you might actually meet your future boyfriend there?

Laito got emotional. " you're all grown up. You don't even have your baby accent anymore..." he frowned and stroked your hair.

On the other hand, Kanato got irritated at the idea of you being stolen by some other guy. They were the ones who took care of you and that guy's just gonna steal you away? No no no. He's gonna die in Kanato and Teddy's hands.

" y/n-chin, stay away from boys okay?" Kanato warned.

You and Laito pouted, but for different reasons.

" what? why?" you asked.

" boys are bad" He simply answered. Laito tilted his head and let out an " eh?"

" but you're a boy, Kana-chin.." you trailed out.

" exactly." he added. His tone was serious, and his face looked serious as well.

What's gotten into Kana-chin? you wondered.

" oi, pipsqueak. Don't avoid boys, you challenge them at basketball and crush them!" You whipped your head towards Ayato who suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

" no! basketball would give the boys the advantage of touching y/n anywhere!" Kanato retorted and Ayato put up his hands to tell Kanato to " chill brah, it's not like she can't take care of herself. I taught her everything she needs to know if that time comes" Ayato winked at you.

And then you realized what Ayato was talking about. " oh..that."

" honestly, you don't need to go to school because we already taught you everything" Shu stated coolly and you turned your head to him who was casually laying on the floor with his eyes closed.

" yeah, that is true!" Kanato agreed, holding Teddy closer to him. " why does y/n even need to go?" he asked.

" it's that man's orders, you know what Reiji said earlier...you can't disobey him..or else.." Shu answered.

" or else what?" you asked.

" or else you'll be sent to the North Pole" Ayato answered for Shu and the triplets laughed at the memory.

Shu deadpanned.

You on the other hand, is confused because of the lack of knowledge about the topic.

" we don't talk about North Pole.." Shu grumbled.

The triplets laughed harder at Shu and his unimpressed face. Your brows knitted.

" hey! don't make fun of Shu!" you put your hands to your hips and made that annoyed pouty face. The three stopped to look at you with amusement. Shu got up.

" the kid's right, don't make fun of Shu" Shu himself, added. Mimicking your annoyed facial expression and putting his hands to his hips as well.

The three guffawed.

Ayato had tears in his eyes from laughing. Never did he imagine Shu doing whatever that was. Kanato was crying and laughing at the same time. Laito was on the floor laughing.

" I didn't know Shu can be cute! HAHAHA!" Laito struggled to say in between laughs.

" I should've caught that on camera, hahA!" Ayato said almost inaudibly because he was struggling to breathe.

" don't worry.."

They all turned their heads and found Subaru, holding up his phone.

" I got it" Subaru smirked and Shu's eyes glinted and he immediately stood up and dashed towards Subaru who made an 'oh shit' face and ran away as well.

" that's the most I've seen Shu in motion" Ayato said, astonished.

" wow..." was the only thing that Kanato could say.

" dat ass tho" said Laito, and everyone turned to him eerily.

" you just had to say something weird!" retorted Ayato.

" whaaaat?" Laito asked feigning innocense.

You watched your brothers bickering and think to yourself.

What am I gonna do without these dumdums?
