Ash struggled against his restraints. The ropes bound him and his companions together as they struggled to be free. Giovanni got up from his chair and walked over to them, his Persian following him. Kneeling down, he told Ash, "Oh Ash, stop struggling, it's no use. Only 4 people outside of this building know you are here, and when they get here...then they will know my true power." '4?' Ash thought. Giovanni got to his feet and turned to the darkness. "Jessie and James. Such a waste. They had so much potential. And Meowth, poor little Meowth. He never even got to evolve." Persian brushed against his legs and purred. Exhaling, he picked Persian back up and sat back down. Staring into the distance he thought, 'And the woman who crossed me. Never again will she leave me. Never again will she abandon me. Never again.'
