0: A New World...

One thing we don't understand about the world is the fact of it's creation.

Was it imagination that created it? But who was there before it was created?

Was it a God? Maybe so, but not everyone would agree

Was it because of some random explosion? Of course not, we all know explosions destroy, not create

But everyone is entitled to their own belief and opinion...

But my actual topic, is how it is today.

Everything around us, everything we know, was created and discovered by none other than us human beings.

The state of the world we live in is the result of our choices and actions.

But is it really why it exists? I mean, my world that is...

My world, I think, couldn't have been the way it is now because of decisions  but maybe because of what we've done is the reason is that it's become this way

The end of Global Warming, new things discovered, peace and order all throughout, life-changing technology, and a microscopic amount of pollution.

But now that I think about it... it's all because of decisions.

The decision to make the world better, and the tendency to act it out.

Imagine that. Billions of people, each with different mindsets, cooperating with each other to help and save our world.

It's no longer a dream. It's all reality...

for me, and some of us.

But even now, actions have consequences, and not all of them are positive

One decision could have eliminated 3/5 of the adult population, leaving anyone under the age of 18 outnumbering them 5-2.

Why did I say this? Because it happened already in my world

We called it the Incursion

No kid was affected, it was some kind of disease that spread only through the adults, and left most children as orphans, or missing one parent at most.

I guess I can consider myself lucky for being one of the latter...

But then again, wise decisions made the children go back to their original state, thanks to orphanages, inheritance, and adoption.

The ones who inherited, used their fortunes to create new tech, or update old ones. Most of them were generous to charity, and some of course, were greedy.

Not only that, but one day, we humans discovered two kinds of creatures that we never knew existed...

We classified them as Catgirls, and Wolfboys

As the name entails, they were hybrid humanoid races, discovered by some scientists trying to figure out why there was seismic activity in a specific area.

Surprising to every human, they are very peaceful. No weapons of any type were found in their homelands, also, they were very friendly but shy.

A few years after discovery, they've been helping us. Catgirls would help in restaurants or any domestic jobs while the Wolfboys became part of the police force or armies, as either trackers or scouts.

And of course, you could own one as pets, but of course... you would have to have them legalized first.

And even now... the world still keeps updating. Like a popular application constantly updating to suit the needs and wants of those who use it.

In my 14 years of life, even with all this, I feared it. I feared that all of these new things could cause the end of the world. Because deep down, among all this peace, I feel like there'll be a war.

A war that could destroy everything. As if to reset the world to it's original setting.

And I was going to be in the middle of it...

So, at the dawn of this new earth, I chose to be a shut-in gamer. In the one place I could feel comfortable, my house. The one relic from a time I was born in and used to.

And even now, I'm still in here, in my room. After 6 years of the existence of a new world called...
