Chapter 13: Date Night Pt. 3

Daniel's POV

I know Joey too well to know that he is becoming vegan. That's why I went to Olive Garden, for some lasagna.😂

We made it into a parking space and the first thing Joey said was:

J- Danny, I'm a vegan, this place will be horrible for me. Can we go somewhere else?

D- I'm sorry, looks like you'll have to stay here with me.

He rolled his eyes, laughed and soon after agreed to stay.

When we got in we ordered some water. Joey downed the glass to where it was empty. Sooner than later he had to use the restroom. But a few seconds after he left our waiter came over. He asked what we were having, I replied:

The Tour of Italy please, oh and may we have more breadsticks?

He replied saying he would bring a fresh basket and he will be right out with our food.

Sure enough I ordered for us and then out of the corner of my eye I saw a boy zipping his fly. He's so cute.

We ate, and let me tell you he was not happy, but I smiled and hugged him as an apology.
However he was "starving, so he HAD to eat it" at least that's we he told me😏.

I drove to his house and he was about to go get out of my car when we saw his stepdad outside yelling and stuff was being thrown out the door by his mom. She was drunk,

I felt so bad for Joey, he has had to deal with this for almost his whole life.

I didn't say anything but I locked the doors and drove away.

J- What are you doing? You saw my parents there?

D- I'm not letting you stay there tonight, I'm sorry but I can't see you get hurt. Besides Jett is at his friends house anyway.

Joey told me that at dinner, Jett was an awesome kid he was sweet, kind and caring. Like his brother only his brother is hot and my age.

I reached for his hand and he didn't pull away instead he grabbed it tightly.

J- Thank you Danny, you're  the best boy--

Did he almost call me his boyfriend? I've wanted to hear those words for awhile from Joey, it almost happened. I'm getting closer to him.

We pulled up to my house and my mom was on the phone. She said she'll call back whomever she was talking to later. She then set the phone down and walked towards us.

" Are you gonna screw this one too?"

"Mom he is having some issues at home with his parents."
She looked at me with regret with her sentence. She left to the closet and grabbed a blanket and pillow for Joey.

"He'll sleep on the floor. Make sure you give him clothes for tomorrow Daniel."

We went to my room and he got his jacket off and took off his shoes.

I patted the mattress that I was sitting in welcoming him to sit down with me. He excepted and sat down.

J- Thank you so much Daniel, this means a lot to me.

D- Joey I need you to listen,

I can't just be friends with you, I like you too much. But I can't be with you, you don't deserve a screwup like me.

He really didn't need a guy that slept with almost every girl in the school. What he deserves is the best of the best.

J- Daniel, you're the best guy to me. I want to be with you.

As he said that he started leaning in, I started leaning in.

We kissed, it lasted for about ten seconds then we rested out foreheads against each other.

It then got more intense to the point I saw into of him kissing him slowly and passionately.

I stopped and he did too. I didn't want to have sex with him, not until the future when he's ready.

We kissed each other good night, I slowly in the floor and let Joey sleep in my bed. I wasn't going to let him go in my dirty floor.
