I put on ten MOM jeans and a gray long sleeve with a whale on it. I put my converse low tops on before I go to my bathroom. I brush my hair and my ribs are throbbing. I swear he broke then last night.
I limp outside and see Alice's car in my drive. I walk slowly and I set in.
"Are you okay?" She asks.
"Is your dad that Doctor at the hospital?" I ask.
"Yes." She says slowly.
"I think my adopted dad broke my ribs last night." I whisper.
Alice gasps and her eyes go black. "I'll have Jasper drive you. I can't go to school today." She pulls over to their house and helps me into Jasper's car.
"I heard." He says.
"I figured." I gasp for air as the pain his.
"No school today." He gets out of the car. Jasper picks me up and carries me into their beautiful home.
Jasper carries me to the third level of the house and into a doctor office room. "I'll go get Carlisle, or dr, Cullen."
Jasper walks out after laying me down. I wrap my arms around my stomach and I feel a tear trickle down my face.
A beautiful man walks in the room.

"Hello, Leanna. I am Carlisle Cullen." The man greets.
"Hello." I whisper.
"I would like to do an X-ray." He says and he rolls a machine over.
He sighs as he sees the split bone. I flinch. "I'll have to do surgery. Now."
"But the blood." I figured heir secret out.
"I'm used to it. I have been in the medical field for over a thousand years." Carlisle says softly.
I nod. "Do I need to change?"
"Just take those off, leave your underwear on. Alice and Waylon are fetching your things from your old home." Carlisle says before walking out.
Jasper enters. "Need help?"
"Yes. It hurts too much to get up."
He walks up to me and he takes me jeans and my top off. He smiles before kissing my forehead. "I shall wait until you are done. Outside." He walks out when Carlisle enters.
"Jasper and Waylon are our newest vegetarians." He says as he snaps his gloves on.
