"You are so lying, Angelina Jolie never did that!" I nearly yelled, gasping for breath as I bent over, clutching my side as my uncontrollable laughter began causing me pain. I glanced at Jay as I attempted to fit the house key into the lock.

"I swear on my purple skinny jeans it's true." He said with a serious look on his face, his hand raised in an oath. I straightened up and raised an eyebrow at him as I twisted the key to unlock the door.

"You don't even own purple skinny jeans." Taylor accused with a smile as I walked through the door, swinging my bag to the side where it landed with a thud.

"Yet." He replied.

"Mom! Dad! I'm home!" I shouted up the stairs. I waited a moment for a reply, but none came.

"I guess they're not here." Taylor said, glancing at Jay, and then at me.

"You know what that means." Jay spoke, a devilish glint in his eyes. My brow furrowed in confusion for a moment, and then I rolled my eyes. At the same time we all threw our heads back exaggeratedly.

"Slumber party!" We yelled in unison. I laughed at my friends and ushered them in so I could close the door. My parents occasionally decided to go on dates when they finally realized that a Friday or Saturday night with Jay and Taylor meant that I wouldn't be home at any decent hour, and it was pointless to wait up for me.

"I've got the popcorn!" Jay hollered as he made his way into my kitchen.

"I've got the movie." Taylor said as she sat down in front of our movie case.

"And I've got the pillows and blankets." I said as I made my way upstairs, grinning to myself.

I stripped the comforter from my bed and grabbed an armful of other blankets I could find. I struggled to carry them all down the stairs, but I managed to make it down without being able to see. I shuffled around the couch and dumped the blankets beside the coffee table. I heard voices in the kitchen and followed them.

Taylor and Jay were having a quiet discussion. Jay spotted me and grinned, and Taylor turned around to face me.

"What's up guys?" I asked curiously. Taylor held up two movie cases, an annoyed look on her face.

"I want to watch The Notebook, but Jay wants to watch Mean Girls." I stifled laughter at both of their determined faces. "You decide." Taylor finished. I grabbed the movies and scanned them.

"Hmmmmm..." I paused. "The notebook."

"Ha!" Taylor yelled victoriously, smirking at Jay.

I grabbed The Notebook and Mean Girls and began heading into the living room. I put Mean Girls back on the shelf and slipped The Notebook into the DVD player.

It took Jay and Taylor a moment but soon they made there way into the living room, and with them brought the amazing smell of freshly buttered popcorn.

Five hours, four bowls of popcorn, and three movies later, we were delirious. My eyes began to droop along with Jay's. However, Taylor somehow remained sitting upright. I was laying on my back, staring at them. Jay lay on his stomach while resting his head in his hands.
