I found mom kneeling on the floor and dad looking down at her. Mom had a red spot on her cheek. I figured that that was from father. He then opened the back door and went outside with no hesitation.
I rushed over to the sink and grabbed a towel, then got it wet. Then a jolted to moms side and put it on her cheek. Tears rolled down her cheeks, and it seemed like they were contagious. Soon I found myself crying as well.
